Zero StarsPros:I arrived in San Juan, Puerto Rico at 2:30 in the morning to find the car service was going to charge me over $400 more than the agreed upon price. I was homeless for the first 9 hours of my trip because my room was not going to be ready until 11:30am. Do not trust this service.Reviewed 22 Jan. 2017

Cons:Oh my, this place is a mess... it's now called allied. I rented here before with the same experience. This time I had to cancel because they were saying my online rate wouldn't allow me to use my private vehicle full coverage.... so rented online then they wanted an additional 174$... went to NU down the street got a nicer car for same original online price. Also 2 different customers were accused of damaging their car while we were standing in line, both had taken pics and proved otherwise. It is slow, rude, disorganized, poorly ran, etc.Reviewed 30 Jan. 2020

Car Battery was brokenCons:The car battery was broken upon rental - though it worked for the first 1/2 day. After 12 hours of having the car, it wouldn't start. I got a jump from roadside assistance who told me to drive straight back to the car rental to get a new car and to not shut the engine off. So this took several hours on a short research trip I was making to Puerto Rico. I did not have time to waste. Upon arrival to the rental. They offered to switch out the battery, but I said I preferred a new car of a different make (since they had initially given me a car much larger and less energy efficient than I had booked and because I didn't want another model of the car that had just failed me). Instead of offering to compensate me for the inconvenience and lack of safety of the car they initially rented me - which I was stuck in the middle of a road with because I just turned it off for a second when trying to park and then it would not start again - they tried to charge me for the gas 1/4 tank of gas I used. I did not fill the car up because I was instructed to not turn the engine off. I've never filled a tank with the engine on. That does not seem safe. They also initially fought me when I suggested I should be compensated. The wait was very long at this rental place. Everyone was unhappy with their services around me. I am supposed to hear back about compensation for the dangerous car they gave me - but am still waiting. I asked again when returning and was met with a more kind reply.Reviewed 17 Oct. 2016

Had reservation, no cars available...Cons:We flew into Puerto Rico around 8:00 on a Friday night. Had a reservation for an economy car, there were 2 people in front of me in line and about 8 people behind me that had just come form the airport. When I made it up to the front desk I was told they had zero cars available. She explained that they were waiting for cars to be returned and it would be one or two hours until we would have one. I told her we were staying about 10 minutes away and asked if their shuttle could drop us off so we could check in and get some food while we waited, she said that would be no problem. Two shuttle drivers refused to take us to the hotel claiming they were short handed and we would have to wait for a third shuttle driver to arrive. We got an Uber and checked in and had dinner while we waited for the call that never came. I called the next morning explaining that what happened the night before and asking when a car would be available. They said I was first on the list and they would call as soon as a car was returned. Two hours later we decided to rent a car from another agency and went to cancel this reservation without so mich as an apology. Very disappointing.Reviewed 25 Jan. 2017

Ended up paying more than doublePros:The facility was clean, the attendant that checked me out was very friendly and courteous, the car was good.Cons:On kayak I was supposed to pay $36 i ended paying $94 after taxes and fees. They made me pay for the unlimited toll because apparently I have going to go through 15 tolls. I went through 2. The car was supposed to be a Ford Focus and it ended up being a Nissan Versa. The attendant seemed to lack the sense of urgency and the lines tend to take a lot longer than normal.Reviewed 2 Oct. 2016

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!Pros:THE GOOD LOOKING SHUTTLE DRIVER, THAT'S IT!Cons:THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THE LOCATION WAS HORRIBLE, NOT GREETED, NOT SERVICED QUICKLY ALTHOUGH NO ONE WAS THERE EXCEPT ANOTHER CLIENT WHO WAS WAITING A WHILE TO RETURN A CAR. THE LADY DIDNT ACKNOWLEDGED EITHER ONE OF US WHILE SHE WAS ON HER COMPTER. SOMEHOW I WAS ASKED TO PAY FOR $60 EXTRA IN TOLL FEES THAT WAS "OPTIONAL". I ASKED IF THERE WAS ANY OTHER OPTIONS AS I KNOW I WILL NOT SPEND $60 IN TOLLS BECAUSE THE WEST COAST DOESN'T HAVE TOLL BOOTHS. SHE REPLIED, "NOT REALLY, UNLESS YOU GO LOCAL"...SHE DIDN'T TELL ME I CAN GO TO THE LOCAL GAS STATION AND BUY A $10 TOLL CARD. SHADY, UNHELPFUL, AND WHEN I RETURNED SHE WOULDN'T GIVE ME A RECEIPT, AND I HAD TO SAY I WASNT LEAVING WITHOUT ONE. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!Reviewed 15 Oct. 2016
