Pros:CheapCons:Our tires were unsafe and worn out, one of them popped on the freeway and we had to put on the spare on the side of the freeway. The company charged us $150 for the popped tire (not our fault, tires were already worn out), and they gave us a different car. A day later with the new car, the air pressure light came on, and we took it to a gas station, where the attendant told us all 4 tires were low on air and really bald and worn out (remember this is the 2nd car). I wouldn’t trust this company to provide a car that is safe to use, and would seriously be concerned if you choose to rent from this company in the futureReviewed 26 Oct. 2019

Definitely a cheap, budget rental.Pros:The car was very clean and a gas station is located close by to top off the tank before return. Service was very friendly and did apologize for my overly long wait to get the vehicle.Cons:Wait times for pickup reservation were pretty bad. It was almost an hour after arriving before getting a vehicle I had booked over a week in advance. Policy states that, should an accident occur, regardless of being at fault, I would have to pay for damages immediately. Might be standard, but I've not been told this at other rentals in the past. Considering the car had previous marks and damage to it makes me question where this money really goes. Overall, the experience was ok, but in retrospect, I'd spend a little more to go with a better known company.Reviewed 23 Dec. 2018

Pros:Absolutely nothingCons:Took almost 45 min for the shuttle to arrive to the HNL airport to pick us up and everyone had to cram into the shuttle to fit in. When we arrived at the rental car office there was already a long line with no waiting room area. We had to wait outside in the blaring Hawaii sun for about an hour before someone helped us. The car we received was a total lemon, the brakes made noise and seemed faulty, the rear trunk lid would not stay closed, the A.C. didn't function properly. Next time, I will pay a little extra and go with a more reliable rental car company!!Reviewed 12 May 2018

Never pick us upPros:There was nothing to like!Cons:Call to tell economy we were going to be last pick up. I spoke to manger "Panda" and he assured me saying they will pick us up with their shuttle and will stay a little late to give us our car -- they never showed up so we took a $50 cab ride to the office and it was closed. We were so upset!! We asked the cab driver to take us to our hotel which was another $45 cab ride. I called their customer service line and a gentleman named Javier answered and said it was completely unexceptable on they're behalf. Customer friendlyPros:Rented a car in Honolulu. On the 4th day, an image of the engine light came on. They were happy to exchange it for another car. Rental rates good.Cons:Cars were older models. Poor Customer ServicePros:That it was cheap.Cons:Representatives took forever to assist me even though there was only one other customer there. They’re online system was glitching when I placed my reservations so I got 4 reservations for the same dates so I had to cancel 3. They charged me $108 cancellation fees for the 3 reservations I had to cancel. When I ask the representative when I returned the rental, she didn’t know why and later called me to let me to call customer service, who couldn’t do anything but told me to email the customer service email. Pros:The car was fine and the drop-off was quick.Cons:Beware their apparently low prices! It's a bait and switch. When you book online you get a low price with a cheap third party insurance. When you get there, they tell you that you can't drive off the lot without cancelling the third party insurance and buying theirs, which brings the total price up to match their competitors. The agent I dealt with acted like this was some annoying glitch of booking online, but everything that followed suggested that this was the business model. I realized what had happened after reading many other reviews on Google afterwards, seeing that they do this routinely. Wish I would have known! The place is in the middle of industrial nowhere, so once you're their you don't really have another option unless you want to pay for an expensive cab ride.Reviewed 23 Nov. 2020

Pros:No the staff is not very friendly and helpful. If you like nightmares and bad, nasty service, choose this place. The only thing that is acceptable is the price. But it's better to pay more than to use this place. They get no star....Cons:The pickup was only okay. The lady was about to give us a VERY DIRTY minivan, until I looked into another one and requested it. Cats were everywhere!! The shuttle took us on a long route, to get to the car, which should have taken about 7 minutes. She took 20 minutes. The drop-off was horrible. The place closed at 7, but the website said 10 pm. The guy in customer service was the most rude human being ever encountered in any business ever.. He actually called us ignorant. He also hung up in our face and yelled at us. It was a nightmare twilight zone experience. Please do not use this ugly dirty rental car place if you can at all help it. It's better to walk or even crawl to wherever you're going than to be treated like trash. the only thing that made it acceptable is the price. however, had I known what the experience was going to be like, I would have definitely paid more money for a better places. It's the nastiest, dirtiest, grimiest place I've ever been to. And the people who work there attitude was almost just as nasty, especially the guy.Reviewed 7 Dec. 2020

Cons:I booked last minute due to travel.changes and the virus situation. I think the saying you get what you pay for makes more sense. The car was 25 per day in Hawaii. Ok that was nice, but the car was not clean, it literally has a banged up bumper and the gal Danielle says no worries, it drives well. The inside was not clean. Had wet spots from were some people last were at beach. And a 3 days supply of tampons in the glove box, Mahalo. We appreciated the texas guy at check out. He was kind to welcome us back to the lot, we gave him our left over water pack from Costco. I get the economy side of it, but the key fab didn't unlock the door,. But locked it. We good gas mileage on the versa..... we got what we paid for..... we appreciate the smile from the driver taking us on free airport shuttle. Perfunctory and bare bonesPros:Excellent price but BEWARE... You get a no-frills, bare-boned, no-coverage, curt service. You get what you pay for. If you have good personal insurance you should still be wary.Cons:You get what you pay for. I needed a long term rental and this was, by far, the cheapest I could find. If you scratch the car or worse you WILL pay for it out of pocket. Their insurance is very expensive (same or more than the cost of the rental). This company deals with selling used cars so if you wreck it or bang it up and it devalues the resell cost then YOU pay the difference. The renter before us had the side of the car keyed/scratched and they told us that the renter payed $1,500 out of pocket for it (and the scratches weren’t even fixed when we got the car). They have the longest list of terms and conditions so I suggest reading them before you use this company so you know what you’re in for. They go through it extremely fast on the day of. We did not get a receipt when we turned the car in. They looked in the car while I waited and gave me all clear without even noticing (or not caring) that I had left my 2 carseats inside. Overall, we got lucky that no one damage the car because even if we weren’t at fault we would’ve paid an arm and a leg and my first born child to cover it.Reviewed 15 Aug. 2018

Pros:The staff was polite, price was cheap, car worked.Cons:Unexpected charges for using a card which was already charged (prepaid online) Agency wanted $20 / day extra + $1000 deposit because I prepaid with a debit MC. Why not ask just to put a cc on file? Instead, I was instructed to put the entire charge on a credit card and email customer service for the debit card refund. The next day I was contacted by customer service and notified that their is a 7% fee for processing of the refund I felt that none of these policies were communicated up front. Also, the car’s A/C unit smelled bad/ musty, like the cabin air filter needed changing. The rental location is far from the airport and transaction time is very slow. In the event of an accident, they have a policy of collecting the entire amount of the damages from the client (not just the deductible, loss of use and admin fees) and won’t with the insurance companies. Cons:First Rental car was filthy. We were able to swap it out for a different car in the same class, thankfully. Never received email of rental agreement, called to confirm email address and still never received rental agreement. All 4 tires had low pressure, we had to fill at the gas station. There was one shuttle back to the airport, and many people waiting for a ride. We left plenty of time but the wait was so long, we cut it very close to our departure. Would never rent with Priceline or Economy or the k***k site again.Reviewed 18 Mar. 2021
