Pros: We loved the California Park hotel. It is set in the most beautiful gardens which makes it very quiet and peaceful - a great place to relax. Staff are super and we were made to feel very welcome. The bedroom was small but it was well furnished and equipped and we had a fabulous big terrace which more than compensated. Lovely buffet breakfast.

Pros: We loved our stay at Californis Park. The setting is idyllic park like grounds only a very short distance to the beaches or town. It's easily walkable or even more fun was the bicycles they provided us. We reached the hotel in the early evening and the staff was extraordinarily helpful. The rooms were decorated in chic beach; very well appointed, very clean.

Pros: The hotel staff were welcoming, efficient,and friendly. The hotel was set in lovely peaceful gardens surrounding a large swimming pool. Our room was spacious and well equipped, with a balcony overlooking the gardens. The continental breakfast was ample, with platters kept topped up. Dinner was really worth staying in for, as was the service.

Pros: Like the position of the hotel close to the beach. We like this hotel and have stayed several times. Might be a bit quiet for some as it is quite a walk from the town centre. Not a problem to us as we use a car as we usually combine the break with business.

Pros: It's a beautiful small chic hotel, with a lovely ambience and a romantic feeling about it with orchids and candles everywhere. Wiseria and jasmine winding over the balconies added to the overall prettiness, and a feeling of calmness and relaxation. The huge pool in the garden area was a nice surprise. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, and helpful in everyway.

Pros: Location was superb...but the grand hotel was not as grand as the price. I know it was prime time season, but for the amount of money per nite, we expected much more.
