Cons:Pick up was frustrating. I felt the agent was unwilling to discuss my needs in a vehicle. ‘Manager’s Special’ was unclear. I received a large truck - my vacation included transporting a handicapped person, so my arrangements changed. The agent’s response ‘ we can change it, for a few’ was off putting. I just left. On another note, my drop off experience was wonderful, the staff was friendly & efficient. I would have given pick up - unhappy, low score Drop off - excellent.Reviewed 15 Mar 2020

Pros:Easy to get the rental picked up and dropped of quickly and efficiently. Very friendly staff.Cons:The truck I rented was pretty badly scratched up on the driver side and it wasn't notated on any print outs I was given, nor did anyone do a walk around with me prior to me driving it off the lot. Additionally, the truck looked like it had barely had a wipe down and smelled like someone had definitely been smoking in it, but had tried to aerosol it away. Maybe notate known vehicle defects on the receipt or an additional print out so it's documented for everyone's sake.Reviewed 28 Jan 2020

Pros:Drop off was easy and the vehicle was very comfortableCons:I had no idea how much I had to have on my credit card to rent the vehicle. It would have been a much better experience if it was disclosed at time of rental.Reviewed 5 July 2019

Pros:My incoming flight was in late, but the desk clerk was still waiting for me because he had all my travel details. I received the vehicle I expected after a fairly quick check in, everything was great with the vehicle, and the dropoff was lightning fast and easy.Cons:My only difficulty was figuring out 12:00 a.m. on which date with a midnight pickup time scheduled. The toggle switch to set the time when reserving was confusing--not sure if it is Kayak's interface or Hertz's.Reviewed 27 Mar 2019

Cons:In Tucson, reserved a medium size car, when I went to to Hertz, only trucks available—had called all the cars back to the Tucson airport. Hertz gave me no notice!!! Had to delay my trip to rentf from airport. Never use Hertz again!!!Reviewed 5 Feb 2019

Pros:They gave me a water bottle.Cons:I called asking for the drop location. A customer Rep asked my name, found my reservation and directed me to the speedway location. I showed up to drop my vehicle, and was told I had to drive all the way to another location that was 10+ miles away equating to 3 minutes of extra drive time and fuel. Thankfully I was proactive and left early or my rental would of been late and I’m sure I would of been charged an extra day even though Hertz made the error.Reviewed 19 Sept 2018
