I reserved a car. They did not reserve me a car. The only vehicles they had were pick up trucks. My experience was awful. The attendant at the rental counter had a rude, “Take it or leave it” attitude and did not care that I am 74, 5’3” tall and weigh 105 pounds and had reserved a car. He said it was too bad. I was not given a receipt on pick up so I had no paperwork. Additionally, I paid my “TOTAL RENTAL AMOUNT” at the time of reservation and they increased the amount by $112.56 at the time I turned my truck in. DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES RENT a VEHICLE FROM BUDGET! I WILL NEVER DO SO AGAIN.

I reserved an economy car. When I got there for my scheduled pick up time and my options were a mini van or electric vehicle, or I can pay an extra $150 for a mustang or suv. I’m driving to pigeon forge, Gatlinburg and Ocoee campgrounds. How am I gunna figure out how long a charge last and try plugging it into a tree. I’ve never used one before and not about to get stranded in the middle of nowhere. Suggestion have a map of charging stations and a how to video if you’re going to give that option as well as a discount bc it’s a whole thing. I was not about pay extra due to your failure to secure the car I reserved. I took the big old minivan- great on gas and mileage (sarcasm) as my options were limited at that time of night and I just wanted to drive and get to my hotel to sleep.

Quote I got online was not what I paid, even opting for the additional insurance. There were hidden fees that were not obvious to me. Paid much more than expected. The front seat was stained when we picked it up. Chocolate? I hope that was all it was.

Pick up went fine at Alice — drop off at Bentonville airport went very bad. They didn’t check my vehicle in on time even though staff called me and confirmed they had the keys, and they charged me extra days because of it. Still trying to get it figured out days later.
Overall the rental experience was good. Fuel mileage was very good 27 mpg. Getting in and out was not an easy task on the drivers side. AC workers great. The issues that bothered me was gear selector method just like to know who thought this idea up. Terrible design. Would never rent that Santa’s again because of the way gear selector was designed

Car was dirty. Eaten sunflower seeds, drinks, and trash all in it. Sticky stuff everywhere. Car was NOT full of gas. Started with 50 miles less than I returned it with, AT LEAST. Rip off for sure. Not using Hertz again.

We reserved a premium car. None were available (I understand) and we were given a Ford Ecosport. The smallest of SUV's. When we asked for a rate adjustment, they refused. Also the two drivers side tires were extremely low on pressure and missing valve stem caps. It is extremely difficult to find a source for airing up tires. When we returned to Sarasota, the pickup return location was chaotic. No one present to help, we didn't receive a final receipt, and the service overall was extremely poor. I guess the public are at the rental car companies mercy these days. Very disappointing.

Was given a "Supplier's Choice" car which meant the smallest, dirtiest car in their inventory. I can only imagine few people want a Ford Fiesta that was not only tiny but also still dirty. Both the mirrors and side windows were obstructed by what looked like water stains and finger prints. My partner and I were too tired and in a hurry to go back and change the vehicle at the time of pickup but should I ever use Hertz in Knoxville again I will be double checking the vehicle quality and size before driving off. Book "Supplier's Choice" at your own risk. The cost was only slightly reduced at the time of booking for the inconvenience that the vehicle provided.

Overall was a very quick and easy process. Due to weather, we had to rent a vehicle last minute. Alamo worked with us and turned an unfortunate circumstance into an east solution.
The customer service was very good but the car had a smoky smell that was worse when it sat for a long time I don’t smoke so this was not a good experience for me.

My plane was delayed coming into Knoxville so I called Avis to say so snd they said my reservation was cancelled! Caused me lots of stress. When I got there it was NOT cancelled! The customer service number gave me wrong information.

I made reservations for a vehicle, paid for a vehicle rental, received a confirmation, but no vehicle was available for me. I have tried to resolve this issue by speaking with someone and have had very little success. I would like a refund but can't get in touch with anyone.

Pickup and return, nobody was there, counter was closed. Waited over 2 1/2 hours for pickup and was done by Hertz counter. No walk around the car or anything after a long wait. And returning, drop box or anybody at counter.

The price was good but it was one of those dealer’s choice promotions. The vehicle turned out to be a Ram 1500 extended cab pickup which is way too big a vehicle for someone used to driving a car. After some discussion they were able to change it for a Toyota Carola. This was very appreciated, although the initial stance was they could not change it. The person working the desk didn’t seem to want to be there, but others he called over were helpful.
