Pick up was interesting, no one at the counter and a 35 min wait for the shuttle for pick. That was the only mediocre part of the whole experience. Everyone was nice and friendly and counter help and drop off went with ease.

Rental vehicle did not have a snow brush snd it snowed 2 of the 5 days I rented the vehicle. Come on - it’s Minnesota March weather madness! I was clearing dude windows with my forearms!

Easy quick pickup and drop off. Very helpfull person at drop off to reach our airline. Only negative might be the rental pickup area in MSP was quite dark, so a bit hard to see any existing conditions. Luckily the car was without any issues that were not previously noted.

I had rented a jeep, and was told upon pickup that there was no guarantee it was all wheel drive, so I had to upgrade to a much more expensive car because the weather was really bad. My rental went from $499.00 to $1020.00! This should be noted on your site when booking. The agent was very good and just doing her job, so no complaints on the customer service!!

The counter attendant was not friendly. The attendant did not seem to be happy to work that day. The car that was picked up had not been washed or vacuumed. The car was comfortable and drove well.

The car reserved through Kayak was advertised as a mid-size SUV. I specifically paid extra to have a larger vehicle since I had my spouse and kids with me. Only at pickup did we find out that the rental car reserved was not a mid-size SUV, but an economy. The car they tried to provide wouldn't even fit my kid's car seats and our luggage. Budget blamed the the third party rental agency (QEEQ). The third party rental agency blamed Kayak. Kayak wouldn't answer any calls to customer service. All parties refused to provide any assistance and left my family stranded at the airport with a too-small car. When seeking help everyone just recommended paying more money in order to get a vehicle that matched the size originally advertised. Overall it was a very poor experience with Budget and Kayak. I will not be renting cars through Kayak in the future because they significantly misrepresent their vehicle sizes.

Worst experience of my life while renting a car. The staff at the counter was rude and misleading about insurance information. We had such a bad experience that we ended up cancelling the reservervation and charged a penalty as they cancelled the booking an hour later than the pick up time. I don’t recommend this company

Very understaffed. They gave me a car, then wouldn’t let me leave because it was in someone else’s name. They had 1 person working the desk outside and he had to go get cars for people. It was very long and disorganized.

No one joined me to review its condition at the pickup. It had damage all over the exterior. The drop off parking was not indicated by any signage. Very hard to find. The key deposit box was also not indicated by signage. No one available by phone at 9:00 pm. No chat function at 9:00 pm. No directions to drop off parking on website.

The person helping at pick up was very nice. The vehicle was good. However, when I booked the car online, I paid $71.99 rental & $18 insurance in advance. When I was sent my final receipt, I was charged $213. We rented the car for less than 8 hours & the total was over $300 for a standard SUV. If this amount is correct, I'm very frustrated this total wasn't disclosed upon renting. Now I have to spend time trying to contact Hertz to discuss or dispute charges.

Employees arguing with each other. No cars were ready. 45min to check in with 4 people in line. First car smelled like human urine. 20min scramble to find another car. Staff does not really seem to want to help or interact with customers. Staff needed to be directed to check fuel on checkin. This location in particular is well known for charging refueling on full cars.

Initial Hertz rep didn't know what he was doing. Delayed our trip by 2 to 3 hours. Kayak, you have terrible customer service. There is no way to contact anyone. I will never EVER book anything through you ever again!!! Lesson learned by going through another party instead of just going directly through the actual company.
