Scott, Aug 2019 - Novotel Paris Centre Gare Montparnasse
Cons (-) Clean large room. Most comfortable pull out sofa ever. (My daughters got the bed). Nice helpful staff. Fun atmosphere in lobby. 2 block walk to several metro stations. Would definitely stay here again.

Pros (+) The location is super convenient, directly across from Gare du Montparnasse train station. It is an easy walk down to the Eiffel Tower, the Seine, and all the museums. Lots of non-touristy places to eat that are open in the summertime. The staff, while a bit overwhelmed, was super friendly and helpful.
Cons (-) Only one elevator was working during the morning rush hour, which made for long wait times.

Pros (+) Kids under 18 eat breakfast for free which allows for a good breakfast to start the day. It averaged out to 10 Euros a day for my family of 4 including 2 kids, that’s really inexpensive for Paris! Close to the River Seine, a 10 minute walk to the closest Metro and 15 minutes from the Eiffel Tower. Mostly excellent staff with a couple of rude/ couldnt care less ones, especially in the gym/pool area
Cons (-) Carpet was quite worn, especially in the walkways. In room fridge and Air Conditioner were not cold enough however it was unusually warm in Paris during our visit (90 F/32C) Restaurant and bar choices were extremely limited The hotel requires men and boys to wear Speedo style swimwear to use the pool. This really irked me as it would have required the purchase of 3 pairs of Speedos despite us havi...
