Pros:
The car itself was nice and clean. Drop off was quick and easy.Cons:
It took nearly 1.5 hours standing in line to get my rental - almost as long as it took to fly to FL! Then they said something was wrong with my rental agreement and they had me listed as returning the car to another airport! After that was corrected (for pickup/return to same location), they said the rate was wrong. After getting a manager to sort it out, they said something about an extra $50 due to the change, but the manager waived that. Drop off on return was easy and quick. When I returned home, I found a $700 charge on my credit card from Hertz IN ADDITION TO the original rental amount! They told me since I hadn't used the full 24 hours rental on return, they reverted it to an hourly rental for the final day at $38/hour!! After 2 hours on the phone with representatives, trying to get a clear explanation of this billing, it was finally reduced to $70. I will NEVER rent Hertz again. They blamed Kayak for they way reservations are made, my point to them was I paid for x number of days, returned the car earlier than anticipated, and should not be penalized, regardless of how the reservation was made. I unfortunatley left the original paperwork (rental agreement) in the car upon return, or I would have fought them even more over the $70.2.0 Poor

I typed in a search for RSW but did not get a car at the airport. My reservation was for 5 pm but apparently the location where I rented closed at 5 pm and I could not retrieve my PRE-PAID rental.6.0 Okay
