Cons:
The Herz office where we booked our car through Kayak did not have any cars available. They said that a "glitch" in the system was allowing cars to be booked through Kayak and other consolidators, even though there were no cars available, even at the time of booking. This was a terrible situation, which should never have occurred. Kayak needs to work with Herz to correct the problem. I'm not inclined to use Kayak ever again. We were unable to get a car at the last minute, and had to cancel our plans.2.0 Poor

The car we received had been obviously hit and not reported or fixed. We picked it up and went back to hotel to grab the family. We opened the back latch of the van amd the whole end of fin with back stop light came off. We called back to hertz, nothing they could do. They noted it in our contract which was good- so far we know of, but it was a safety issue. They said there was no other vehicle that would fit seven in their inventory. We asked if there’s a different location they sent us there and they told us they could do nothing for us. There is absolutely no easy way to rent vehicles during this time which must be related to Covid. We felt we were given the runaround and absolutely no support whatsoever. We kept the vehicle drove to our next destination which was an hour away. Used it very limited for fear something else might break. Dropped it back off where picked it up at the end of our trip. It was a joke and nightmare. When we returned it they said, that vehicle can’t be rented out it’s a safety issue! We said we know but when we had it you did nothing for us! No credit given. I am reporting this to the Hertz corporate, not sure it will help. A lot of money for a piece of junk and extremely poor port service!2.0 Poor

Due to a wait at the airport for our luggage, we arrived less than an hour after our agreed upon pickup time. Hertz was closed. I planned on returning the next day to pick up my car. They had given away my reservation. I had no vehicle the entire week and was forced to Uber. Ubering ended up being a much better option and I will no longer use Kayak nor Hertz in the future.Enterprise Rent-A-Car

The car was clean and in great running condition.Cons:
When I booked this vehicle, I had set the pickup location to RSW Airport. The car was a 28 minute uber away from the airport, which cost me additional money. When I asked if I could return it to the airport, they said no. This required us to leave the hotel an hour earlier to get the car dropped off and get a ride to the airport before we left. The staff at Enterprise wasn't rude, but they weren't friendly either. I don't generally write bad reviews, but it was very irritating that I booked a vehicle to be picked up at the airport and was not informed that the location that they reserved was not at the airport. I put that fault on KAYAK and not Enterprise.10.0 Wonderful
