Pros:Staff was friendly and the vehicle ran well.Cons:Be prepared for a $250 security deposit, which MUST be on the same card as the rental amount. This definitely threw a bit of a wrench into our plans, but luckily we were able to make it work.Reviewed 30 May 2021

Cons:My flight was delayed. When I arrived there was no one at the counter as it was closed. Had to stay the night near the airport and get the car the next day. Was still charged for the day I did not have it on top of having to pay for a hotel.Reviewed 12 May 2021

Pros:Car was perfect. However the Desk service was horrible.Cons:Surprised last minute with request for insurance. Also, the tolls offering was not made clear - they used scare tactics to sell. So overpriced and for me a HUGE waste of money. I travel frequently but will not rent from advantage again.Reviewed 6 Apr 2021

Pros:NothingCons:When I showed up at the Advantage counter they had already closed for the night. I had a reservation at a specific time and I was there early so it wasn't my fault. Whoever was supposed to be there had obviously left. So I was stranded for a while at the DFW rental center at 10pm at night. Pros:Book it now was listed at $355 for 6 days. With hidden fees and up charges the total came to 865.75! Ridiculous. 2 months of standard car payments for 6 days use.Cons:Kayak should remove advantage rent a car from populating on results.Reviewed 6 Jan 2021

They basically lie with the price. Even if you hire top car insurace.Pros:Car was as expectedCons:The total estimated price was 223 USD. I hired the car insurance that covered 40K USD so I was quite confident that the price they gave me was the correct one. Once you are in the airport, they said that the mandatory insurances were not added to the price, nor were the different taxes and --according to the lady- neither was the toll pass, which wasn't mandatory but needed. Total 500 USD. I will never go back to Advantage and I will strongly discourage anyone considering it,Reviewed 24 Apr 2017
