I filled up the gas tank when I returned the car. I have the receipts, yet you charged me $65 for fuel. I intend to dispute this and will take the matter up with the appropriate authorities. You charged me an extra $65; I had already returned the car with a full tank.Reviewed 24 Sept 2026

I got there and they told me they didn’t accept my debit card and couldn’t take tap pay or anything like that. Would be nice to know an exclusion list ahead of time so I could plan better and make other arrangement.Reviewed 19 Sept 2026

Even though I completed the early registration before arriving at the rental car center, there were no agents available, and my vehicle had not yet been assigned. All Budget and Avis customers were directed to the same queue, resulting in a wait of more than 1.5 hours at 2:00 a.m. At the end, I left by car ride and cancelled the car rentalReviewed 16 July 2026

They did not allow me to take the rental after paying for it and signing the paperwork. They left me hanging after my flight was canceled at 11pm and asked me to go around asking if a rental car is available at other rental car companies. I will never go to Budget again.Reviewed 2 May 2026

We had to wait over an hour at the check-in counter. They admitted that they were not able to turn cars over fast enough and were having to pull them from other agencies. Clearly unprepared. The car was received already with some damage on the front.Reviewed 16 Apr 2026

Everything was great until 24 hours after we returned the car. Now they say we didn’t return it! We have filed a claim stating we did but how unfortunate budget is such chaos. Never again.Reviewed 7 Apr 2026

Check out and return staff were friendly and fine. Car was garbage, dirty, bald tires, poor range for an EV not as advertised. Charging adapter not provided.Reviewed 23 Feb 2026

They didn’t have a car ready for me. I waited over an hour, I had to ask an employee to have mercy of me and ask another company if they could lend them a vehicle. I rented a mini van because I had 3 car seats and 3 kids so I needed a bigger vehicle. I find it extremely upsetting that they made us wait that long to get a car we were confirmed for in advanced. There were about 25 people waiting for customers to return vehicles so we could grab them. It’s extremely disappointing and stressful when traveling. Also the budget employees were extremely slow, spending over 15 minutes with each person so someone from Avis pulled me to take care of my reservation and it took her 1 minute to do it. Also, why would you guys offer insurance, I booked it and then at the counter the employee says “that’s a third party you won’t have coverage” so why was that offered to begin with?Reviewed 22 Feb 2026

I reserved compact SUV but was given a sedan. Took a long time to be able to get a decent car. Got overcharged in the end...Reviewed 18 Jan 2026

After landing at the airport and taking the bus to the rental location. I had to wait in line for well over an hour just to pick up a rental vehicle that I had booked well ahead of time online. I thought the process was going to be way faster and I will be thinking twice before booking online again.Reviewed 10 Nov 2025
