The rental agents showed little interest in customer service. Their priority appeared to be making sure I followed their procedures precisely as they wanted, rather than helping me as a customer. As if this wasn’t enough the Tesla I had reserved wasn’t going to be provided. I was going to accept that until they told me they had no idea of where it could be charged but I could call a 800 number afterwards to find out. Inside of windshield was smudge wiped, even with AC front defrost it was smeared that I had to pull over and wipe with some clean socks. Wipers need replacing asap, rained and could not see. Next day I tried to wash and there was no water, completely empty. Read camera was dirty and couldn’t see when in reverse. I did report to MCI Budget. I’m not a complainer and let small things go but this was extremely bad.Reviewed 21 June 2026

Terrible. The rental was pre-paid, but Budget wouldn't rent without doing a credit check for the deposit. I have no problem paying a deposit and told them that, but I've had my credit frozen for two years due to fraud from a large data-leak. They refused to rent me the car without the credit check so I was stuck at the airport at midnight having to find anyplace open to rent me a car. Won't use Budget or Kayak again to rent a car.Reviewed 5 Feb 2026

The only issue was I wasn't aware that there wouldn't be anyone at the counter at drop-off. I was lost as far as the return process and an airport security guard had to assist me. This rental saved us when we missed our flight and needed a quick affordable way home. Budget saved the day! No complaints!Reviewed 10 Nov 2023
