Good and bad, but they made it right. Initial check in was great, upgraded my car and got me out quick. Issueswith the car occurred on our trip, and after a phone call we realized it wasn’t a deal breaker. Swapped out the car at our first destination. I had a horrible experience as the speedometer went out in the middle of my trip in Barcelona. For 3 days, I called 10 different numbers for enterprise and no one was willing to help . They would recommend calling the emergency road service , but they would not help for replacing a car. Emergency road service would only tow the truck and would not help getting me another car. I had to use uber to get around . Finally, I had to take uber and go to one of their locations near main train station in Barcelona and was able to pick up another car there . I lost 3 days of my vacation dealing with the car issue. The only positive outcome was that the manager at the Madrid airport where I dropped off the second car was very professional and gave me credit for half of the rental cost, but I would have preferred not to deal with the car issue and enjoy my vacation as I had planned.Reviewed 20 Dec 2024

Thiago made us wait too too long. His customer service skills are very mediocre, the guy cannot even say Hi. I understand we get busy, too many customers drives you crazy, but doesn't mean you treat everyone the same. One advice, ask him to smile more often so he doesn't come out as rude to clients. Marta saved the day, she was excellent, customer service great. She helped us and also give is an.upgrade for our convenience.Reviewed 8 Nov 2024

I’ll start by stating that I booked this trip over the phone directly with an enterprise employee in advance. I arrived to enterprise rent a car 15 minutes before my pick up time, 12:00. There was a significant line which was to be expected as it was a holiday weekend however, my friends and I ended up waiting almost 2.5 hours to receive our car. I first spoke with an enterprise employee at exactly 12:03 and our car did not show up until 14:26h causing us to be late to an event out of town. When first speaking with the employee she advised me that the model of car I had reserved was not available and tried to upgrade me to a BMW 2 door convertible. I had specifically reserved a 4x4 large vehicle as we were five people in total with many bags between us. The enterprise team informed us they would bring us another car from a different office which as aforementioned, ended up taking nearly 2.5 hours from the time of check in to the time we departed. The saddest thing is that we were not the only party this happened to. There were two other groups who waited just as long as us in order to receive the type of car they had booked. Even more embarrassing, on one occasion when we checked in with an employee to ask for an estimated time of arrival for our car, he informed us it was coming “soon” and then proceeded to call other clients who had rented cars with enterprise and ask them when they would be returning their cars as they had surpassed their return time. Inconsiderate and a shame. Companies like enterprise need to ensure they maintain the appropriate quantity of cars as well as models for customers in order to avoid unnecessary delays and wait times. I believe the problem lies within the management of this branch as well as overbooking cars based on the assumption you might have “no shows” or cancellations seeing as when booking online there is no payment made up front. Moreover, we were not even offered a discount for the inconvenience. It’s safe to say I will not be booking with enterprise again.Reviewed 6 May 2024
