I knew the holiday was going to be busy, so I booked early to get the type of vehicle I wanted. When I arrived i was waited on in a timely manner, but the salesperson walked back and forth as if he was looking for something missing. Then he came back to me and said that the vehicle I ordered was not available. and grab a set of keys to a minivan. I explained to him that we are tall people and would not be comfortable in a minivan. I was then told that that was the only option available. even though there was a vehicle on the lot like I ordered. I was told that that was the premium SUV option and I only ordered the Full-Size SUV. If you don't have what you ordered and booked ahead for, they should offer something comparable or better not lower and less expensive. I booked this with some discounts that I had built up so when I was forced to take a lesser vehicle they charged me the lesser day rate, but I lost my discounts. Easy to rent the precise vehicle we needed, Ford Transit - 15 seats. The van was clean and smelled wonderful! It had only 35k miles and all the brains of my RAV hybrid, all the bells and whistles. Drove it to Cape San Blas, Port St. Joe Florida from Indiana and back. Not even a hiccup along the way. The employees at the check-in/out desk were respectful, polite and helpful. Lastly, after I returned the van, I received a call from a woman (whose name escapes me 🤔) was lovely. So kind and sweet that I felt like I was talking to my best friend. Well, they advertised that they had vehicles for rent. So, I made a reservation for a vehicle. (Made plans for the weekend and everything.) I then got a call the day I was to get the vehicle that there were “no vehicles available!” This was the 4th of July weekend! So, plans blown as now, since I was informed at the last minute, no one has any vehicles available!Reviewed 4 July 2026
