We arrived at the counter to be told there was a booking, however they have no car for us and that Kayak keep issue cars when they don't have available. No communication was given advising us on this. Absolutely terrible service. Will never use Kayak or Europcar again. Luckily we were able to arrange a car from another provider.Reviewed 9 Mar 2026

After the blizzard in the northeast, we arrived at the rental car counter after the two hour window and they would not honor the car rental rate that we signed up for. I would never recommend anyone or rent a car from this company that was terrible and terrible business. There were delays and canceled flights all morning that day on 24 February. Our flight was the first flight out of JFK after all of the delays. They had the cars and they just chose not to honor our agreement because. they wanted more money, greedy bastards!!!!!!!Reviewed 7 Mar 2026

I was quoted a price and paid the insurance online prior to arriving. The agent then tells me the insurance I bought isn't good enough and I had to purchase theirs and they held a $1,000 deposit as well which they charged me $500 for a tiny scratch on the bottom bumper.
