Hertz lied, we went all the way to the airport to pick up our confirmed rental and they would not honor the confirmation! They told us that even though we made a reservation and had a confirmation number they had rented our car to someone else so they were out of cars.Reviewed 13 Oct 2024

Car was prepaid, yet I still had to wait 30 minutes in line in order to get the automobile. Then there was rather intense pressure to pre-pay fuel, buy more insurance, and the like--just so Hertz can generate more money.Reviewed 11 Dec 2021

Pros:Drop off was easy.Cons:Be ready for a wait at the pick-up counter (1-hr) and have to listen to their up-sell 20 times for each person in front of you. Car had a slow tire leak which required filling up every couple days.Reviewed 19 Apr 2021

Pros:Car was fineCons:I rented a Managers Special. I assumed, since it was a car rental, that it would be a car. I was given a choice between a pickup truck or a Ford Expedition. I had to pay to obtain a car. I feel that is false advertising.Reviewed 15 Apr 2021

Pros:ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!Cons:Everything could have and should have e been better! We had a car supposedly reserved and got NOTHING! There was not one single car available and WE WERE STUCK AT AIRPORT CAR RENTAL! Had to get a hotel and have family come pick is up all the way from Alamogordo the next day! Pros:Ultimately the car we got was sufficient and good. We weren’t able to do what we intended with it though.Cons:Pickup took in excess of 90 min and didn’t have the car I paid for.
