Pros:The car ran well.and got good mileage.Cons:The car could have been clean. It could have not reeked of cigarette smoke. It could have had a full tank of gas. Pros:The process was easy, the car met our needs. It was easy to walk to the Hertz office from the terminal.Cons:The car had NOT been cleaned on the inside. there were papers and items including a dirty face mask inside of the car when we got it. We did not notice right away, otherwise we would have picked another car. However, it did not smell like disinfectant like all the other rental cars I have used during the pandemic, leading us to think that the car was returned, not cleaned and immediately placed on the lot of available cars.Reviewed 26 Apr. 2021

Pros:Iris was extremely helpful, pleasant, and friendly. She made all efforts to ensure I was given the correct rate.Cons:The signage at Charlotte, NC airport only says "rental return". We drove around and ended up in the cleaning lot because we couldn't figure out where to enter to pick-up the car. There was a computer glitch with the car return time. it took a lot of time to fix this. I wasn't notified upon booking that the car was a 24 hr rental anyways. There was also a glitch with the closing time of my drop-off Hertz rental office at the Philadelphia Amtrack station. Online it says they close at 6 pm when in reality they're open all night for late drop-off. Hertz needs to make clear signage, make sure all office info is up to date online and communicate clearly the rules/times of the rental upon booking confirmation.Reviewed 4 Nov. 2020
