The experience was terrible. I reserved online (easily). arrived early, got in line, and scanned the QR code as requested to expedite my checkin. After entering my DL and CC information, I received an alert on phone telling me my reservation was confirmed and the pickup counter was Fast Break. What wa “Fastbreak?” I inquired and was told it’s a location across the parking lot and J could just pick up my car. I left the line and lugged my luggage across a very cracked and potholed parking lot with no walkway to FastBreak where the receptionist was extremely rude and told me I did not have a reservation. I showed her the message I received. She said I needed a number which I did not have. She told me to essentially help myself. I eventually found out I was at the wrong counter and I had no Fastbreak Number. I had no idea what that was but she refused to help me or even tell me what Fastbreak was even when I asked for an explanation. I would not have left my place in line if I had not received the notice in my phone. I went back to the Budget counter (note I had family in tow, with lots of luggage) across the broken parking lot, back to the line I had left, now twice as long (4 times as long as I was midway through the previous line). After over an hour, I finally picked up my car. Overall the pick up facility was in terrible shape. Only the lady who check me out as I drove off the parking lot offered a greeting and smile. There is no customer service elsewhere at the LAX location - everyone there seemed to either hate the customers or their job or both. The random erroneous email telling me to pick up at Fastbreak was a terrible idea for whoever put that in place. Also the bathroom is in terrible shape. The door is extremely damaged and nicked all over. The lady at the Miramar location where I dropped off the car was very sweet despite being terribly busy as a one man show for the location. Overall the electirc car was new, drove well. The outside was dirty (it had just rained, but the interior was clean. The price was great. I noticed during pickup at the airport, 6 shuttles from Alamo/Enterpise passed by before one old dirty bus from Budget came. (Note I had the same price offer from multiple car rental companies when I was booking and purposely picked Budget!) The shuttle driver was nice and appreciative of the tip I gave him. I recall telling myself multiple times during the experience, in the future, as long as I have other options, I would never choose Budget again. It was a very (and unnecessarily) unpleasant experience, especially after a overseas flight. I would also recommend anyone else from picking Budget, at least the LAX location. Hope this helps your team improve your operations.

Great location, quick service at pickup and drop off. BEWARE when picking up your car @ Avis - my car, though new, had a lot of scratches- upon dropping off the Stuart tried to charge me for one which was not ticked off (and was disappointed when he learned I had the full insurance and videotaped the car when picked up)

Long wait time of over 30 minutes at the JFK Federal circle for car to get ready n handed over to me. Secondly there was no windshield washer in the vehicle. Not a pleasant experience.

The car interior smelled of cigarettes, had 60,000 miles on it, was misaligned and wobbly at highway speeds, had scratches on exterior, had severely worn floor mats. I've never had a rental from a major brand that was in such poor condition. Noted these items to Hertz and received a perfunctory form email with no substance. Disappointing.

The day that I arrived there was a shortage of cars at Thrifty, which caused a significant delay for everyone getting their rentals. This was due to an earlier weeks earthquake in New York. Although this was dissapointing as I could not leave for my destination until I received my car, but I have to applaud Thrify employees for keeping good attitude and taking the time to explain to everyone why there is a delay, and that they are doing everything they can to get us out of there. I appreciated the feeling informed attitude. And everyone in line was super kind and positive

The people were friendly and helpful but they do try to upsell (eg electronic toll pass, extra insurance coverage). When driving to exit or enter the vehicle storage area, there isn't much room to maneuver and there are some tight turns.

When we got to the car rental place they said there wasn't any cars, we explained that we booked through Expedia and the last was very rude to us. We then booked through hertz and had brilliant customer service and a lovely car. I'd highly recommend Hertz and will be avoiding dollar.

Terrible. First car they gave me had a touchscreen that was broken which resulted in everything moving / adjusting constantly and changing on its own making driving it a virtual guarantee to be in an accident. They replaced it with an EV for a one way trip to Buffalo which was a 385 mile trip. I nearly froze to death waiting for a the car to charge in the middle of nowhere at 4am and had to constantly find slow chargers to make it another 30 miles. A typical 6-7 hour drive turned into a 14 hour one. I am now sick and my holiday is ruined.

They tried to give me an electric vehicle. I was making a 5.5 hour drive and was not prepared for the logistics of a EV (where to find reliable list of locations for chargers, etc) and therefore was forced to pay to 'upgrade' because they had no other cars in the class I purchased. That's their problem, not mine, but i was forced to pay anyway.

The ease of getting checked out and into my vehicle. I didn't like the fees and insurance arrangements that were disclosed at the last minute before agreeing to the rental. They also did not have the car I reserved for (which I understood might be different), and it appeared to be an effort to push me into a more expensive upgrade which they did.

NEVER AGAIN NEVER!!!! The employee at the counter is just the beginning of the worst rental experience you can ever imagine. I was forced to buy insurance even though my credit card provide coverage in case of an issue with any rental car. Then I was requested flight information even though, as a student, I am allowed to stay in the country without having a flight back; they make you feel uncomfortable. Finally, the worst is yet to come. We had a nail puncture, and they charged us 200$ for a tire replacement without any explanation when a fix would have cost 60$; to finish up the bill, they had mistakenly doubled the tax and fee.

I would have appreciated more transparency around the eventual cost of the vehicle. I was initially quoted $290 when I reserved it, and was told that would be the amount when I picked it up. Alas, I was presented with a daily "Geo Zone" fee— something I wasn't notified of when renting the car. I dropped the car off after requesting an additional day (I tried to do so at pick-up, but was told I'd have to call to extend), and was charged a total of $457. Additionally, I thought I would be renting the car from ACE, a company I've heard of, but was surprised to learn that I'd actually be renting it from Drivo (a company I've never heard of). I was also told I could receive $25 back, if I submitted a Google review, prior to even leaving the lot with the car The lack of transparency made me very uncomfortable. In the future, I'll stick to (albeit sometimes pricey) companies I know, like Hertz.

I was able to choose the exact car I wanted and was even able to reserve a cooler and boogie board to use for the week. The car was in like-new condition. The free shuttle was convenient, fast and the drivers were nice. The location was a little bit further from the airport, but it wasn't a problem.

It was the first time we rented via Turo, so I don't have a good base reference to compare in general, and can only compare to car rental experiences with commercial fleets (like Budget or Enterprise). In general it was okay -- we made it to where we were going and back, with no major issues. It's doable. However, there were some "surprises" where things didn't quite got as we expected: * We made rental reservation with expectation that we're picking up at the airport. When we got there, it turned out that the car is not at the airport, and the address given to us turned out to be what seemed to be Portland's airport Fire Rescue Tower (where, obviously, we can't even walk to or be at). We called the owner, and turned out that the car is at some house that's "not far" from the airport, and gave us new address. So additional expense of taking Uber/Lyft to get to the car (and apparently that address exists in two neighboring towns, and somehow Uber/Lyft took us first to the wrong one, so we had to take another ride, but that's not a Turo issue, just more expense as a consequence of car not being at the airport as promised). * When we got there, we called the owner to get the keys: "-- Keys are under front door's floormat. -- Nope, they're not there. -- Then try mailbox? -- Yes, they're there." The owner wasn't there, which is okay to do this all remote, but would be nicer if owner was in general "on top of things" such as where the car is and where it is expected to be picked up, where exactly are its keys, etc. * Then owner requested that prior to return we take the car to be washed and cleaned inside and out. We neither planned on looking for car detailing places in Portland, nor for time that it would take away from sightseeing, nor for extra substantial expense it would be. We pushed back and the owner backed off saying that he'll let it go due to confusion with pickup location (and apparently he didn't send some email that he was supposed to send, or something along those lines). * And while the car wasn't too dirty, it wasn't clean to begin with (which made detailing request that more amusingly odd). Crumbs on floor and seats and luggage compartment. Worst part was that windshield was dirty on the inside that was minor unpleasant at daytime, but as driving progressed into night time, it was quite significant as it was blurring lights and affected visibility substantially. * We also added additional driver thru Turo and let the owner know. The owner requested that we send him picture of drivers license directly to him. We refused (as it didn't seem right, given that Turo is the one that manages that aspect) and he backed off. * Of course, additional expense of Uber/Lyft after return drop-off as we weren't dropping it off at the airport as originally planned. So all in all we probably spent additional $50-60 in Uber/Lyft for getting to and from cars location instead of it being in the airport, and lost about 3+ hours for dealing with additional unplanned travel. The rest was okay. Car drove fine and didn't give any problems.

They were dreadful. We didn't want a shuttle connection from the airport, but the Kayak info said they were AT Wellington Airport. They were actually in a very small place two and a half kilometres away. They were open only certain hours and when I finally got to speak to a person they denied anyone else had complained and , refused a refund, and blamed the misinformation on the third-party, QEEQ. I would have to approach them for a refund.

I called to find out where the office was and was told it was at the airport terminal. In fact it wasn’t there and we had trouble finding address on the instructions. When we finally got there, there was nothing there – no office, no sign. We kept calling the phone number and it took nearly 2 hours to get our car. The car was filthy. Qverall the whole experience was terrible and I will never use Yesaway again!
