Intermediate SUV

Despite having a reservation, they didn't have our car, and we had to wait over an hour to get a car - it was the worst Enterprise experience we've ever had. Thankfully they worked with us in Burlington to get a different car, which was appreciated, and they offered a small discount. But overall super poorly managed situation. If you have a reservation, they need to make sure your car is ready!

Reservation made the previous day around midday. I was called en route to picking it up appx. a half hour before my reservation time to be told that it was canceled due to unavailability. I cannot fathom why you would advertise a reservation for a car that you didn't have available, and then cancel it so close to the pick up time.

Pros:

I had the least friendly and least helpful staff I’ve ever had in any car rental experience ever. They refused me a car and then did nothing to help. They essentially locked me out even though I made it on time. I eventually was not able to obtain a car from enterprise. I will never use enterprise again and I have questions about using your app.

Cons:

Enterprise did not follow up. They did not offer me a car although I paid for one. They were not able to get me a car at another location and less I was willing to pay over twice as much. They actually lied to me on multiple occasions through the process. Profoundly disappointed.

Our car smelled intensely of marijuana. Hertz was unwilling to give us a replacement. We went to three locations. It gave my entire family headaches and made us feel nauseous every time we drove it over a nine day period. Honestly, can't think of how it could have been a worse experience.

Excellent! Fast, easy pick up and drop off and AMAZING customer service from Julio, they go above and beyond! Got my partner and I a Lyft home and ice cold bottled water - didn’t even have to ask! Will absolutely be using Hertz - Freeport in Boston for any car rental needs I have as long as I live here. Thank you!!!!!

The booking you gave me was not in the airport and the pickup time approved and suggested by your booking service was when the Hertz location was closed so I was unable to pick up the reserved vehicle. The entire reason for booking in advance is to ensure I can trust I have a vehicle when I arrive. All of that was lost completely. I lack words to express my disappointment

Car wasn't clean, Lot attendant was not very friendly. seemed annoyed we had to report a scratch on the car and didnt know the exit process at this location We'd been told car had EZ pass enabled, but most tolls showed it unpaid. Hoping we didn't rack up a lot of fines.

Cons:

The car smelled bad when we received it, it was quite damages. After a moth of hacving returned it without any issues, Avis is claiming that I was responsible for the damage which I was absolutely not. I have insurance and their signed form which already proves the damage was the previous to my rental dat, but still I need to be involved in defending this claims and tenths of long and time wasting calls with them and their claims company. I will NEVER rent from Avis again
