Pros:
The staff at the original budget rental we went to had poor customer service and was not friendly. After consulting many other rental car places, I was able to find one that could give us a car but it was not within the budget or the car that we requested.Cons:

The staff was friendly and helpful, and the quality and comfort of the vehicle was great.Cons:
The drop off was a little shaky because of a misunderstanding between the employee and customer so it took longer than it should've but this was minor. Also a previous customer whom had the vehicle before me put a medium sized hole in the rear bumper so it took away from the appearance of the car.2.0 Poor

There were no cars available when I went to pick up so I had to wait over an hour until someone returned a car. Then the employee did not believe my credit card was real. She spent 15 minutes calling various supervisors and American Express to verify it before running the card. Horrible experience!Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Wasn’t allowed to rent car because I have a NC drivers licenseCons:
between polices and their needs! Due to The environment that we are in with this Virus I’d 2020 I can not get into the DMV to change my drivers license to VA! But If I were traveling and my car broke down and I need a rental ! This would not happen at this location!?2.0 Poor

So I didn’t get to rent the car because of a rule about the drivers license not being VA! I was told that I could not rent !Cons:
Polices are not standard across brand! And each location is given the power to stretch or blur the line between polices and their needs! Pros:
I didn’t like anything, we reserved our car for 8am, and 10am we were still waiting for them to bring a car from another location. Not only did we miss our flight from DC they gave us a car that was like $28 more per day and expected me to pay the difference which I couldn’t afford. You guys ruined everything and even made us arrive a day late for our vacation. When you’re on dialysis traveling can be extremely hectic & you guys made it ten times more difficult for a single mother trying to go on a trip.Cons:
Only book the cars that you have, we wasted so much time waiting on a economy sized car only to be hit with a 2 door Camero from another lot that we couldn’t afford. You seriously ruined my 1st solo vacation with my kids, nothing went as planned after we didn’t have a car to get to the airport. I seriously can’t think of any way it could’ve gotten worse. You made me look unreliable to the 2 people that were looking up to me for a good time.8.0 Very Good

I arrived to pickup my car only to find none were available. The agents onsite were not customer service oriented. DId not offer suggestions or help with finding another rental agency. I did however go to the Avis rental agency at theRichmond Airport and they were very professional and accommodating.4.8 Mediocre

I booked a luxury vehicle; they "didn't have any," and "upgraded" me without asking to a Nissan Pathfinder, which cost me much more in NYC parking garage fees, and much more in gas over my 1,000 mile trip, and was difficult to negotiate on crowded NYC streets. Plus,for the formal event I was attending, I wanted a luxury vehicle, not an SUV. When I explained all of that, the customer service person said "so you don't want a car?" And that was that. Uncaring and very unprofessional.10.0 Wonderful

Cons:
I was billed for fuel (twice) while having returned the car with full tank, and had that corrected after a long discussion on the phone and at the drop off. A person receiving the car at your IAD location was extremely rude and inconsiderate. He should not be working for Avis.Hertz

I rented a intermediate car and they gave me a compact. It didn’t have cruise control and the seat was very uncomfortable. I asked the guy about why I paid for an intermediate size car and got a compact and he lied and told me the car he rented me was intermediate.2.0 Poor

Had to book off airport location as airport didn’t have cars. Uber’d to location and there were 5+ customers without cars- they said that vehicles were overbooked by at least 20 for the day and that they couldn’t do anything about it. The lack of effort to remedy the situation was terrible. Ended up going to a low rate provider that had cars available. Their car was terrible, but they actually had customer service.10.0 Wonderful

The people working with me were very nice. The car was nice and clean.Cons:
I pre-paid, because the ad said that it would create a quicker pick up. When I got to Hertz, the gentleman was working with another person. He kept leaving the room to ask someone a question. You could hear several people in the next room talking and laughing, but no one came out to help the gentleman. When he finally got to me, he informed me that I would have to go to another location ( about 20 minutes away) to get the car I reserved.(Glad I wasn't dropped off the pick up the car!) The reservation was not transferred, so there was more waiting once I got to the next place. All in all, it took me 2+ hours to pick up the car. I found that rather frustrating, as you can imagine.
