Pros:
The staff at the original budget rental we went to had poor customer service and was not friendly. After consulting many other rental car places, I was able to find one that could give us a car but it was not within the budget or the car that we requested.Cons:

The staff was friendly and helpful, and the quality and comfort of the vehicle was great.Cons:
The drop off was a little shaky because of a misunderstanding between the employee and customer so it took longer than it should've but this was minor. Also a previous customer whom had the vehicle before me put a medium sized hole in the rear bumper so it took away from the appearance of the car.2.0 Poor

There were no cars available when I went to pick up so I had to wait over an hour until someone returned a car. Then the employee did not believe my credit card was real. She spent 15 minutes calling various supervisors and American Express to verify it before running the card. Horrible experience!Hertz

Pros:
I made the reso with 48.00 rate, I released I made a mistake seconds after I made it. I called and switched the location, I was told on the phone I would not be charged a new rate. I have the call transcripts, date, time and person. I get to richmond and yep you charged me the higher rate. I am not happy and I am letting American Express deal with it. I do not have time to be ripped off by companies.Cons:

I reserved a large SUV and called two days early to ensure the car would be ready and move the pick-up and return a few hours early. When I arrived they did not have a large SUV and offered a Suburban. I was okay with that but they said there would be an additional charge, and I would need to bring it back a day early or pay a fee. Surprises at pick-up usually aren't good.Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Pros:
I didn’t like anything, we reserved our car for 8am, and 10am we were still waiting for them to bring a car from another location. Not only did we miss our flight from DC they gave us a car that was like $28 more per day and expected me to pay the difference which I couldn’t afford. You guys ruined everything and even made us arrive a day late for our vacation. When you’re on dialysis traveling can be extremely hectic & you guys made it ten times more difficult for a single mother trying to go on a trip.Cons:
Only book the cars that you have, we wasted so much time waiting on a economy sized car only to be hit with a 2 door Camero from another lot that we couldn’t afford. You seriously ruined my 1st solo vacation with my kids, nothing went as planned after we didn’t have a car to get to the airport. I seriously can’t think of any way it could’ve gotten worse. You made me look unreliable to the 2 people that were looking up to me for a good time.9.6 Wonderful

We arrived at the airport to pick up our car at 5:15pm. We were told our car rental was off site (which we were not aware of). The Enterprise agent at the airport called the Enterprise location. We requested a guest pick up; we were told we would not be picked up. We decided to take a cab to that location; we were told they were closing and they would not be open for our rental car pick up. We rented a car at the airport from another rental car agency.8.0 Very Good

I returned it on the 17th at 9:16 pm, but on the invoice that i just received you charged me as if i returned it on the 18th. I should have a discount for returning it earlier than the scheduled return time.Avis

I arrived to pickup my car only to find none were available. The agents onsite were not customer service oriented. DId not offer suggestions or help with finding another rental agency. I did however go to the Avis rental agency at theRichmond Airport and they were very professional and accommodating.4.8 Mediocre

I booked a luxury vehicle; they "didn't have any," and "upgraded" me without asking to a Nissan Pathfinder, which cost me much more in NYC parking garage fees, and much more in gas over my 1,000 mile trip, and was difficult to negotiate on crowded NYC streets. Plus,for the formal event I was attending, I wanted a luxury vehicle, not an SUV. When I explained all of that, the customer service person said "so you don't want a car?" And that was that. Uncaring and very unprofessional.10.0 Wonderful
