The rental staff- on pick-up and return- could not have been nicer. But, I reserved a small-sized SUV and was given a Kia Forte with 46,000 miles that had been smoked in heavily during a prior rental. I literally drove with the sunroof open the entire time I had the car to clear the air. I wouldn’t have mentioned this here if the couple in front of me on pick-up night- clearly walk-up customers- were given a new model red mini SUV, then I was told “You can take the small car over there or wait for a long time.” Bigger-picture, it is hard for me to understand how your company brings so much business to these rental car companies, yet we are treated as second-class renters.
