Room cleaning and bed making was excellent, left my extra spending money in the room and never missed a penny.
Everyone was so very polite in the hotel, the view from the bar on the top floor is also not to be missed. Prices for drinks, etc. are as to be expected for this hotel, but don't miss breakfast! As American as you could want, and make sure you ask the guy with the chef hat on to make your eggs. Omelet, over easy, whatever, they will be done to perfection and delivered to your table.
I loved my stay at this hotel, it was hard to come back to reality in the US.

Pros: Location was great, a short walk from the train station but far enough a way to avoid staiton traffic. There's tons of nearby nightlife, but the room itslef was quiet. Staff were quite courteous in accomodating guests on higher floors to avoid noise.
The decor was outstanding. Each floor had it's own theme based on something Japan is known for: ancient shines, anime, woodblock prints, cherry blossoms. Just awesome.

My gf and I had a 24hr layover in Tokyo. We needed a place to stay that was ideally located for exploring the city as much as possible in just 24 hours. Apa Shibuya was a great choice, close to Shibuya Crossing and lots of trains, a short walk to fun shops, restaurants, and bars. Staff was lovely, wifi was good, bed was comfortable, room was immaculate. We considered a Ryokan for a more 'traditional' Japanese experience, but as it turned out, Apa offered a very 'Japanese' experience, with a level of attention to detail and comfort that felt distinctly Japanese to us, 2 experienced US travelers.
