Cons: Tiny gym, mold in the bathroom grout, room amenities were average, surprising amount of wear and tear in our room for a hotel in this category.

Cons: If you forget to tip housekeeping each morning, don't expect clean towels.

Cons: Colonial parking provides valet parking at the Willard for $55 per night. They refused to tell me about any other options when there was another parking garage just behind the hotel. I won't return to the Willard until they lower their parking rates.

Cons: Nothing. It was great.

Cons: When your paying $450 you would expect free internet

Cons: The king bed I had was not very comfortable it felt as if my back was sinking while the rest of my body parts were aloft.

Cons: Did not enjoy that on Sunday the continental breakfast was not complimentary.

Cons: Under contruction, signs directing guests around the construction are poor, concierge wasn't very knowledgable and didn't follow up on a promise to call after doing some research, bar isn't open late enough, no free wifi, valet parking very expensive

Cons: Location was excellent. The hotel is really nice and the price we got could not be beat.

Cons: Noisy HVAC. Slow draining shower / tub with slippery bottom. Not enough outlets to power all our devices at once.

Cons: A/C was noisy in my room. I used earplugs to sleep and it was fine after that.

Cons: Garage charge for the rental car was bit pricey.

Cons: I didn’t like the pillows (personal preference) and the door knob to the room, which was very hard to open. How would handicapped people open the door? Also, I didn’t see any recycling, a must in today’s world. The room could use a refrigerator.

Cons: The double doors were unnecessary. Bathroom was a bit small.

Cons: A bit dated, but that is part of the historic charm. Could use a few more outlets.

Cons: Pillows were hard (I am picky), plumbing fixtures were broken (reported, not fixed, reported again), coffee not replaced for next morning two times, TV's are not HD. On a positive note, we had an excellent steak in their restaurant and the service there was outstanding.

Cons: It is a historic hotel. Although the square footage was decent, it was broken into small rooms. So the room itself felt small and somewhat cramped. The bathroom was small and cramped. Hallways were not well lit. Carpeting appeared to need a change. The bar is small and open only until 10 pm.

Cons: I loved everything about it.

Cons: Draft from windows (they are not sealed),the bathroom is cold (no heating lamp there), the heating blows air straight to bed (not comfortable at all especially after taking a bath) no coffee maker in the room, and no hot drinking water in the lobby after 11 am.

Cons: Restaurant staff were poor. I sat for 10 minutes at the restaurant outside on the patio. Several waiters came by. No one would wait on me and it wasnt busy. I left.

Cons: The rooms were a bit small.

Cons: The only downfall is that walking around the area at night can be a little questionable, especially going to or coming from downtown D.C. It's eerily quiet.

Cons: The amenities were bare bones. No frig in room, no comp breakfast or wine hour. The fitness center was a little lacking as well: small space and there were free-weights, but no benches on which to use them. The water pressure in the shower was very weak. It was like trying to shower with a toy squirt gun. Check-in could have been a bit smoother: we arrived around noon, so we had previously requested an early check-in (normal check-in is 3:00 PM and this is not explicitly stated until you complete your booking). We were told over the phone early check-in would not be possible. Once we arrived, we went to the hotel anyway to see if we could store our bags. It turned out we were able to check in early, so I'm not sure why were initially told that early check-in was not possible. Service at the restaurant was poor. We went for lunch after checking in. I ordered a drink after we were seated and I did not receive it until after we were finished eating and had received the check. There was some kind of problem with their taps. They were apologetic and did provide the drink for free since it took so long, which was nice.

Cons: Only thing missing was coffee maker in the room.

Cons: Tiny elevators. Room was small. Only 1 tiny window in the room and we had no view. Shower door didn't stay closed. The water was $4 a bottle in the room. There was no dresser but rather 2 drawers located in the closet.

Cons: Via the phone and their web site, they required a 3-day minimum stay. Fortunately booking via Kayak let me book a single night, or I would have had to stay somewhere else.

Cons: Other room's room service trays sitting in the hallway for more than 24 hrs. Unbelievable that they charged $4 for the water bottles in the room. Tried to go for a drink in the pub, staff were not attentive; sat for over 15 mins without getting asked what we wanted or asked about drinks; simply left and no one noticed.
