Family VisitPros:We enjoyed our Van very much. We spent 5 days traveling in it and it was clean, ran well, and we had no problems with it what soever. The Van was an excellent price and very good on gas. That was a surprise. With Kayak"s easy instructions we found the address on Redwood Rd. it was an easy pick up and drop off. Also the shuttle took us right to where we caught our flight. We have no complains. We will tell everyone we know about your company, exceptional service and especially the price...excellent!Reviewed 21 May 2018

More Info neededPros:The kids who worked at the ofice were polite and helpful...Cons:When I got to the airport, I did not know where the company was located. There were no signs for the rental company. There was no number to call on the rental agreement. When I finally found the number, I called the office and the manager was rude, telling me I was supposed to call and where I was supposed to go for pick up, etc. With not knowing anything about the airport, I hadn't a clue where I was supposed to be picked up. Then when I got to the office, which was scetchy at best in the backroom of a Ramada hotel, the manager said the only car I could get was the one we were driven back in, a samll SUV. I had requested a full size SUV, which he argued the car we were in was...then one of the kids working thre said, "no we have a toyota sequoia." Which made the maager mad. We did get that car and the manager tried to play it off and start to joke with us. The car itself was on the old and kinda dirty side. Overall, I don't think I would rent from this company again. The only plus side were the kids who drove us to and from the airpot. They were very helpful and had a pleasant personality.Reviewed 21 Feb. 2018

Cons:The van was not a newer van it had 73k miles and the tires were scalloped so at highway speeds we were in a cement shaker. We called about 45 mins out for a trade and they declined to meet us. Anytime we called for pickup it required multiple attempts to reach someone and even though we gave an hour notice when we were returning the attendant was not at the office and we waited 10 mins for him because he did not receive the Multiple calls of our arrival It was useable van but a mediocre experience on all fronts but it was cheaper by $100 I would get a nicer van and pay the $100 moreReviewed 24 Jun. 2020

Pros:I ended up canceling the reservation the day I was to pick up the car and ended up using another company. The number given in the confirmation email to call once you land for shuttle service to pick up the car was no longer in service so I googled for a different number. That brought you to an automatic messaging instructing you to call the same number to arrange airport pick up. After about an hour of waiting unsure of whether or not any shuttle was coming I received a text saying someone would be by in about another hour to pick us up. By that point i had already canceled the reservation and booked with Avis and picked the car up at the airport, no shuttle necessary.Reviewed 24 Jun. 2020

Pros:The price was very good,Cons:The office was a complete mess, very dirty and I wondered if I had made a mistake in renting from AVR. The office was very under staffed and the person working the counter was the person that was driving the van that picked us up at the airport and was late in doing so. The van was dirty on the outside when we got it. After driving a short distance I could tell that the tires needed to be balanced, the front end needed to be aligned and the windshield wapers replaced. I had a flat on the right rear and was told that if it could not be fixed that both rear tires would need to be replaced as they were nearing the minimum. When I returned the van, no one was at the office and I waited fifteen to twenty minutes for the person to return from picking up other people at their hotel and they had waited for over an hour. We waited while he helped them because he would be the one taking us to the airport and leving no one in the office. I will check more before renting from AVR again.Reviewed 3 Sep. 2018
