I booked a small suv via Kayak. They assigned a Honda Accord. (Old and dirty) and claimed it was the same class of car. I refused to accept and cancelled the booking.Reviewed 8 Jan 2026

On one of the busiest holiday weekends (12/27), at one of the busiest airports in the nation (Newarl) there were 12 desks available to help Budget customers, and only one of them was staffed with a human being. The wait to pick up the rental car was 2 hours. Never again, Budget.Reviewed 2 Jan 2026

When I went to pick up the car, there were no vehicles available and many people were waiting in line. There was nobody at the kiosk too. I wasted a lot of time because of this.Reviewed 1 Jan 2026

I waited in line at the budget counter for 2 hours and 5 minutes just to get my car. There was only one agent at the counter for most of the time, a second agent helped out for a few minutes I missed my appointment due to the unorganized nature of the budget counter and will NEVER RENT FROM BUDGET AGAIN. They do not care about their customers or employees for that matter. Worst rental car experience I’ve ever hadReviewed 25 June 2025
