Pros: drop off was easyCons: I made a reservation for a compact vehicle. When I arrived at the hertz location to pick up the vehicle, I was told that all of the compact vehicles had been taken. My only option was to upgrade and spend more money that wasn't exactly in my budget.

Rent a wreckCons: First they wanted to give me an unwashed and uncleaned car. The second car looked like somone spilled something (hopefylly not bodily fluids) on the pessenger seat. The counter agent told me that they cannot detail the car. From the outside the car was scratched, scraped, dinged, felt like a rent a wreck for half the price. It took over an hour to get the car and get on my way

Rented the car out from under meCons: I indicated that I would be coming to pick up the car around midday, but due to a change of plans I came in the afternoon, only to be told they'd already rented out the car I'd reserved and that there were no others on the lot. The staff made no effort to show any kind of sympathy for my plight, and instructed me to call their corporate headquarters to cancel my reservation -- which I was then told I could not do because it was after my pickup time, although I was also told the car should have been held for me until the end of the day. Was eventually able to get my money back, but was ignored by Pasadena staff the whole time. Were it not for the presence of an Enterprise rental agency down the street, my entire trip would have been ruined. I will never rent from Hertz again.

Pros: W liked the complimentary upgrade. We appreciated the complimentary gift card for a quarter of a tank of gas on the next rental when we returned the car with the tank full of gas.

Exceptionally satisfied.Pros: They took me a about 45 minutes early and got me out the door quickly. They were polite and efficient. I got a slight upgrade for whatever reason and was pleased. Needed to keep the car an additional day and it was very easy to do over the phone and for a reasonable fee. They got me in and out upon return in about 5-7 minutes. WOW!Cons: Nothing

Hertz refused to give me my prepaid carCons: Hertz wanted a $200 deposit when I picked up the car. They would not take my debit card, the same card I used to prepay for the car. They would not take card from one of three family members, stating it had to be in my name only. I would NEVER use Hertz.

Cons: The type of car I paid for wasn't available. They offered an alternative which was old and beat up. They were unwilling to upgrade me as supposedly the upgrades cost more than I was worth,even though I've rented with the same agency many times in the past. Went to another Enterprise agency down the road...the experience was even much much worse. I'm switching to Avis, after being a faithful Enterprise customer for many years.

Terrible wait time and inaccurate infoPros: Car was clean and functional.Cons: When we got there they said it would be 30 minutes for a car. It actually took about two hours to get the vehicle.

Great Service at Enterprise in PasadenaPros: Friendly, fast, professional service at Lincoln ave, Pasadena, CA Enterprise location. In and out in 10 mins. good car selection and convenient and easy to maneuver lot. High marks!Cons: Mexico daily insurance is only sold at an Enterprise location in San Diego airport. It is ok, not a big deal, but it did require an extra stop.

Closed earlyCons: I selected a 6 p.m. pickup time. Turns out that this office closes at 6 p.m., and they mean it. Their office is hidden at the back corner of a courtyard - by the time I found it at 6:05 the lights were out, the door was locked, and nobody answered the phone. Maybe don't offer a 6 p.m. pickup time if you plan to flee the office at 5:59?

Pros: Needed a car for the weekend and Thrifty was the most affordable. Place was easy to find (same parking lot as Holiday Inn). Picking up the car was quick (no lines) and painless (representative was friendly and didn't push additional services/insurance).

Inexpensive and easy!Pros: I first looked at what it would cost for an Uber for my designation and back. It was going to be about $80 each way ($160). I was able to book this rental for $30 for a full day. Thrifty was able to quickly pull my reservation up and get me out the door in about 15 minutes. When I returned the car there were no additional surprise fees and checkin was just as great!

Pros: good mileageCons: At dropoff in Los vegas, they tried to overcharge me even though I had a written receipt from pick up. They wouldn't call pickup location to confirm my receipt until I made a fuss. Wouldn't apologize for the false overcharge, just said the computer made a mistake. BAD CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE!!

Pros: Not much to like about the experience other than they had a car.Cons: They claimed not to have the car I reserved despite there being many other cars if that type on the lot. The car I got had little luggage room, was dirty inside, had many stains, the ventilation smelled of mold, there was wheel bearing noise. Avoid this site like the plague, you have been warned!
