My husband and I traveled via Uber to Enterprise for a car we had reserved online. We never got the car because: We couldn't use a debit card(neither mine nor my husband's even though the cards are from the same bank); I don't drive but my husband has a valid license; when I called a utility company to text me a photo copy of my latest 'paid' gas bill; enterprise rejected it because his name wasn't on it; he does not have utility bills in his name. I offered to pay cash to no avail. Finally when we had exhausted our options, we were stranded and it was too late to try another rental agency so we caught another taxi home. Enterprise discriminates! I am seeking other horror stories about Enterprise too post.

I requested a car from STL Airport but you gave me a car that was at a different and didn't realize until shuttle took me to airport location and they gave me a price almost two what you quoted. The allocation said the location I had to go their by cab as their shuttle would not take me there and also that maybe it would be closed by the I got there. It was very chaotic and stressful.

Nothing was great about this experience we couldn’t even get our rental because we needed a credit card to put on hold and didn’t have that much on a credit card only on a debit card and was told they couldn’t run that as a credit so had to find another way for our Florida vacation trip I was very dissatisfied

The rate was not the same as that was quoted on Kayak. They charged me $94/day and there is no way that I would have chosen such an expensive car when $55/day cars were available. Pickup and drop of were easy but the car was supposedly non-smoking but you could clearly smell the cigarette smoke. Almost $500 dollars for four days of riding around in cigarette smoke.

They didn’t have my rental at all. I never got a car . They said the price was not what they charge so they tried to get me to do the reservation over to pay more money for the car. They didn’t Honor you all’s prices.

I have been going to St Louis every year for 12 years. This year I tried Dollar and was NOT disappointed. From the shuttle driver (once I found it) to the front desk workers it was nice and smooth. They were willing to swap a vehicle (in the same class) when asked for preference reasons. Thank you Dollar!

Great customer service. The pickup spot from the airport was tricky to locate but again, great customer service when I found it. Price is not comparable in my opinion, after imposed fees. It is what it is. I’m just thankful that customer service was not hindering the process.

I was in line for over an hour trying to rent a car. The staff did an excellent job. They just needed more help and the manager should have gotten out of his office and helped his team check people in. I finally joined And signed up for fast track and was done in less than 10 minutes.

The pickup instructions for fast pickup were not very clear, and we ended up waiting in a very long line in a hot room for pickup. I tried to do online checkin, but the website kept asking me to enter a valid pickup time, when this was already specified on the reservation, so that piece didn't work well either. The woman who helped us once we got to the front of the line was very helpful, kind, and efficient though. The car was clean, and bigger than we expected. Drop off was very easy, and the shuttle was sitting right there for us, and left right away to take us to the terminal - great service!

They were excellent! I screwed up and showed up at a different location from where I made the rental reservation. They straightened things out, got me a car—even though they had a long line of people renting vehicles—and even matched my initial rate for me! They turned a near catastrophe into a successful trip.Really, not anything. They were helpful, professional, and friendly.

I accidentally placed an order for a car at a different hertz 25 minutes down the road. I thought I had ordered from the hertz by the airport. The rep I was working with wanted to help me but didn’t know how. It is also of note that the place 25 minutes away, closed at noon, and I had a 1 pm pick up. So even if I made it to the correct place, I would have still been out of a car. After the rep roamed the building for 15 minutes trying to find out how to help me he came back and told me I had to call the 1-800 number, that they couldn’t help me. I called, and every time the automated service would hang up on me. I was in town for a wedding, and fortunately a friend was able to come pick me up. While I waited, all the reps yelled to each other about looking forward to getting drunk that night, not once asking if I needed any help. Hertz should change their name to Hurts.

Everything went very smoothly and I saved quite a bit booking through Kayak and picking up the car at a location away from the airport. I really liked the feature of prepaying for the gas so I didn't have to deal with that before dropping off the car. That's always such a pain. Plus they price it so it's even cheaper than buying the gas yourself. Drop off was super easy.

Staff are so rude.Very bad experience, very dirty and nasty inside.First safety, vehicle have lots of problems, without checking and any service, they put in rent and have shows lots of mechanical issues, on way driving, and this is very worse experience I get from hertz. I will never rent any car from this Hertz, and will never recommend to my friends and family.

E wry thing was tops. From check in to return. Chris was awesome. He explained everything. He Showed me the features of the can. He Gave me his hours in case I needed anything. Just really extended the customer service. I’d rent here again. BRAVO!!

Being forewarned that the pick-up site was SO FAR AWAY from the airport! They need to offer a free shuttle from the airport. We really got jerked around. Then Hertz charged us for an entire 6 days longer than we used the car.

Overall Very GoodPick up & Drop off was as near perfect as possible.I was not thrilled with the vehicle but that was NOT Alamo's fault. It was the make and model of the pickup. (I would not buy this truck). I think the exit of lot could be marked better but it was not horrible.

It fit the need!Nice sized SUV (Ford Escape) given I was hauling my 1-year-old around along with several others. The experience with Alamo was very nice as they got me in and out quickly which I cannot say enough positive things about given I was lugging a baby, car seat, pack n' play, backpack, and diaper bag all by myself.Nothing really. GPS built-in would have been nice but my smartphone wedged near the dash did the trick.

Really bad customer service at the front deskPick up and drop off were really quick.The lady at front desk provided a really bad customer service. She had earphone on one side while talking with me. She really did not want to work at all. I have never confronted this level of bad customer service.

Easy check-out and check-inPrompt service and friendly van drivers to and from STL to Alamo lot. I reserved a "mystery" car at a good price and got a mini Chevy SUV. Not the most comfortable ride, but overall nicer than expected.No driver's manual included in the car.

Rental vehicle was good, customer service fell shoPick up & drop off were quick and easy. The vehicle was clean and perfect for us. Shuttle drivers were friendly.Customer service at the front counter was not what I expected. Agents didn't acknowledge me and my sister when we entered the building and there were no other customers. When we finally got helped and asked for clarification we felt we were bothering them. We left with a bad feeling.

Windy WalkCustomer Service was pleasant. Car was washed and clean.Customer Service was good until I was asked if I was a Muslim all because I was wearing a bow tie. I don't believe that she was being racist. But she was a bit uncouth. Then I had to walk across the parking lot in the blistering wind to select my car. Fix how customers receive their cars immediately. I waited 15 to get my car. Drop off location was a bit confusing to find the exact location to drop off car.

They truly tried .We came in on Christmas Day and there was a shortage of cars with flights delayed and rerouted passengers. So their systems were skewed with last minute changes. They worked so hard and were honestly trying to do their best to please so many frustrated customers. We appreciated their efforts through the hectic process and pleased that they were able to provide a car for us through all their confusion.
