Cons:After waiting in line outside in the cold for about 45 minutes, we got inside the first set of doors. Another customer whose relatives just got to the front desk had been waiting for 3.5 hours and they hadn't been as far back as we were. We needed to get to a wedding rehearsal and didn't have another 4 hours to wait, fearing there wouldn't be any cars by the time we got there. The woman who was taking Hertz customers inside made the passing comment that it was like this every weekend. We took the shuttle back and got an Uber in minutes.Reviewed 14 Dec. 2020

Pros:They didn't have cars. There were hundreds of people waiting and we were told that there was a minimum of 5 hours wait and after that not even a guarantee to get one.Cons:Pretty much everything! Pros:I was scammed by a "very nice" woman who claimed "since it was my birthday weekend", that if I bought the toll charges, they would waive the refueling upon return offsetting costs of the toll charge pass.Cons:This is an unethical business who uses the bait and switch. There is no recourse as disputes are a national number with no access to local management. Charges are sent after return of the vehicle, rendering customers incapable of personal redress with the local management, preying on customers who are time limited to catch flights and have no knowledge of additional fees until already gone from their facility. Pros:I liked the price.Cons:When I arrived, it took 45 minutes to get to the counter. They only had two people working when I arrived and they were very slow. The first Van I got, I carried my entire families luggage out to the car in the cold and could not find the keys. We looked everywhere to find out that they took the keys inside and could not find them. Therefore, I unpacked the van, went, and found a new van with keys inside. I repacked the new van and my family started to leave. Once I got to the checkout booth, the person working told me that the plates were expired and I had to back up, go back and find a new van. Therefore, for the THIRD time I went back, unpacked the van, and went and found a new van with keys inside. My family was tired, hungry, and freezing cold. We finally left and went to our Airbnb in Denver. The next morning when we were getting ready to leave for breakfast, we noticed that our rental car was a complete mess. There was spilled drinks, dirty floor, and sticky mats. We turned on the heater and it smelled extremely bad. We had plans for the entire weekend so I did not have time to drive back to the airport to exchange it for a fourth time. Upon returning the vehicle, there was nobody in the office. We sat in the office for 30 minutes until I walked over to Thrifty and they said nobody would be around today. Why would nobody be in the Dollar Rental Car? That makes no sense. I finally got a Thrifty worker to scan my car and my family and I left for the airport. I have never had such a bad experience and I feel like I should get my money back. Wasted time, shabby treatmentPros:Car and drop-off were both fine.Cons:Pick up was frustrating: Waited in line for 30 min to pick up a pre-reserved car at 11 at night. The self-serve kiosks appeared to be not working. The staff were unwelcoming, chatting among themselves and indifferent toward their customers. As if we were a herd of sheep getting processed at a meat plant. When I asked where the B Row was, I got a vague wave of the hand, headed in that direction and wandered around confused in the blowing snow for several minutes. If he'd said "Out that door, continue straight and its the very last row", it would have avoided my confusion. I'll pay the difference and go with Hertz or Avis next time. The savings at this Dollar are not worth the wasted time and shabby treatment.Reviewed 26 Feb. 2017

Cons:It took 90 minutes waiting in line to pickup the car were registered for. The agent told us gasoline was free when it was not. Rather it was prepaid and this is not customary. The vehicle we rented was poorly cleaned and reeked a smell of cannabis.Reviewed 14 Feb. 2021

Pros:The van i rented was pretty nice and the drop off was expedient.Cons:My Denver check in took forever. I waited in line for an hour and the line was even longer when I finally reached the desk. More than 2 people are needed at the desks for the amount of cars that are rented. I will not be renting from Dollar in Denver in the future.Reviewed 15 Feb. 2021

Pros:Staff were professional and helpful. I would have died if I wasn't a Dollar express member as the lines were LONG. Issue w/ the car while on travel not resolved due to storm in Denver area.Cons:car had a mechanical issue that could not be addressed while I was in Vail. The AWD error - dealer attention needed scared me. Big snow and I could not use the AWD which is why I ordered the vehicle.
