Car was not what we ordered - the minivan we paid for was damaged so you exchanged it w a Nissan Pathfinder. This car was clean and perfect in every way - except it did not have quite enough room - which is why the minivan was ordered. I understand things happen -and I really appreciated you having a substitute car ready for us when we arrived! Unfortunately my boss who booked the rental said he paid extra for a minivan, and total invoice seemed even higher than he expected. He was not happy we paid too much for a substitute, especially as we later had to finagle people and luggage around.2.0 Poor

Cons:
I ordered a Tahoe or similar and they didn’t have anything but a van. Had to come back to get the van and then waited 30 minutes the second time I came back for it. When I drove off the tank wasn’t even full. It was only at 1/4 tank. When I went to drop off the vehicle a few hours early at 7:50 am the manager told me they don’t open for 10 minutes. From beginning to end was a terrible experience. Left the keys in a drop box and left.10.0 Wonderful

Cigarette smoke. The car including the trunk smelled like smoked cigarettes. At first when we put the luggage in the car, it seemed like the smell was only coming from the trunk, driving the car further I realized that my hands smelled heavily like cigarettes (which I’ve never smoked in my life) and I realized it was coming from the steering wheel. Not pleased with that at all.2.0 Poor

I had a horrible experience.Cons:
Upon arrival of the Hertz location it wad closed. I stood outside the building facility for 3 hours while workers were out on lunch. At this point I missed my check- in time and priority work meeting. I will never recommend this service to anyone. When asked for a refund I was told it was not possible. I took a lyft back to the airport in attempt to get back to the airport. This was a disgrace.4.4 Mediocre

The pick up and drop off were two of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. This text box can’t withstand the number of words required to fully explain. Long story short, three hours late and more than double the original charge we were finally able to get on the road in a car we didn't want.10.0 Wonderful

I had booked my rental on the internet and it turned out to be at a residential location; not at the airport (never looked). The agent handled getting the reservation transferred and had me on my way in minutes. The car also was perfect.Cons:

While on my flight I received a voicemail that they no longer had any rental cars left. Why would they confirm a booking and then sell out. Did they know prior to my booking they had none left? Or did they continue to give customers cars that had no booking? Voicemail was very short with no explanation just that "they had no vehicles". This was a busy weekend I know. It don't confirm a booking if you have nothing!9.2 Wonderful

Waited 40 min. in line at CLT then sent to offsite location for pick up. Despite multiple confirmations since my JULY RESERVATION I was told they had no cars. Eventually was given a 12 psngr van which broke down a block away(thankfully), then after many calls and more waiting, got a car. Unbelievably unpleasant.10.0 Wonderful

The gentleman at the counter was nice.Cons:
I had to take my car back to the rental car place and get a replacement. The car's seat were filthy with burns in them. The car also had a sputter that made it seem as if it was going to cut off. It was replaced with a better care, but still there were scratches and dings on it as well. I would not recommend or use Ace rental car again.2.0 Poor
