Horrible, Will never rent again. Made a mistake when setting up location at airport. When I went to pick up I was told it was the wrong location and they charged me double for an honest mistake. Never again.

Staff was great - efficient and helpful. Everything was on time and easy!! Thank you!! 😊

Cons:

Car was not what we ordered - the minivan we paid for was damaged so you exchanged it w a Nissan Pathfinder. This car was clean and perfect in every way - except it did not have quite enough room - which is why the minivan was ordered. I understand things happen -and I really appreciated you having a substitute car ready for us when we arrived! Unfortunately my boss who booked the rental said he paid extra for a minivan, and total invoice seemed even higher than he expected. He was not happy we paid too much for a substitute, especially as we later had to finagle people and luggage around.

I ordered a Tahoe or similar and they didn’t have anything but a van. Had to come back to get the van and then waited 30 minutes the second time I came back for it. When I drove off the tank wasn’t even full. It was only at 1/4 tank. When I went to drop off the vehicle a few hours early at 7:50 am the manager told me they don’t open for 10 minutes. From beginning to end was a terrible experience. Left the keys in a drop box and left.

Cons:

Cigarette smoke. The car including the trunk smelled like smoked cigarettes. At first when we put the luggage in the car, it seemed like the smell was only coming from the trunk, driving the car further I realized that my hands smelled heavily like cigarettes (which I’ve never smoked in my life) and I realized it was coming from the steering wheel. Not pleased with that at all.

Reserved a car well in advance of my trip, called Hertz to confirm the day before trip, arrived 30 min before the location opened… not only did they not have a car for me, and not have a car for the 2 other customers who we there with me, they had ZERO CARS at this location. This was my first and last time trying Hertz.

I had reserved a commercial van which was quite inexpensive and allowed me to comfortably get some mattresses and boxed furniture in ikea. They indicated they NEVER have commercial vans available so had to literally rent on the spot at higher cost. Looks like you need to update you’re info what is available at rental facilities. This is eco de time this happens at this location btw.

I had a horrible experience.

Cons:

Upon arrival of the Hertz location it wad closed. I stood outside the building facility for 3 hours while workers were out on lunch. At this point I missed my check- in time and priority work meeting. I will never recommend this service to anyone. When asked for a refund I was told it was not possible. I took a lyft back to the airport in attempt to get back to the airport. This was a disgrace.

I wasted 90 dollars and 3 hours with round trip cab rides from the airport due to them not having a vehicle for me, despite having a reservation weeks in advance. I’ve never had an issue with budget in the past. Absolutely unacceptable to waste of a customers time and money.

The employee was 1-hour late to open the business which caused over a dozen people to be late/delayed. The employee offered no apology not any explanation. Rental car was dirty and smelled heavily of marijuana smoke. Worst car rental experience I’ve ever had.

I got a call right before pick up saying they were out of cars and they will not honor the reservation but I could upgrade to a suv for 200 more a day. Stated no other cars than suv. There was no effort to make it right, stated i could call the airport location as they have lots of cars. I called airport at CLT and was was told the same thing. No cars but I could get a suv for 200 more per day. I asked if they do not honor reservation or give the next available vehicle. He laughed and said no. Its full price for suv or nothing. Budget is playing bait and switch with kayak reservation s to scam customers. Reviews for location are horrible stating this is how they do business. I will not use Kayak or Budget again and discourage everyone I know to avoid them

The car I rented was filthy inside and also the last person was smoking marijuana and cigarettes in the car. It was overwhelming. It wasn't until I got to my final destination I realized why I had such a bad headache. I would like the manager to call me and credit some of the rental. For someone who is a non-smoker and very sensitive to smoke it was 10 hours in a car that stunk so bad inside. Both the woman who checked the car out to me and the man who checked in the car were super friendly and kind.

The gentleman at the counter was nice.

Cons:

I had to take my car back to the rental car place and get a replacement. The car's seat were filthy with burns in them. The car also had a sputter that made it seem as if it was going to cut off. It was replaced with a better care, but still there were scratches and dings on it as well. I would not recommend or use Ace rental car again.

Nothing, I got pulled over by the police because the car had the wrong plate on it. They thought the vehicle was stolen. Ace didn't give me another, nor did they changed the plates.

They could have refunded me my money back or gave me another car.
