I didn’t like anything; they let me reserve but in reality had nothing available until two days after my chosen date.

Cons:

Hmmm I dunno... MAYBE DON’T LET PLL MAKE RESERVATIONS FOR VEHICLES NOT AVAILABLE FOR THEIR CHOSEN DATES!? 🤷‍♀️🤬😡

They gave my car away half hour after my appointment without contacting me, I called Hotwire to complain, they have my confirmation number but they could not locate my reservation number, I ended up canceling my plans.

The dollar office did not exist. We were forced to rent a vehicle from a competitor that costs over 3 times what we had initially agreed to with Dollar. We were told by a Dollar representative that the difference would be repaid however we are still waiting on that refund confirmation.

Steve was extremely unhelpful and Budget as an organization was horrible. Confirming a reservation for me and then not providing a car at multiple locations, then making me pay for an upgrade I didn’t need or want. Budget lost a customer for sure. This was the worst customer service and car rental experience I’ve ever had or heard of. And I will see to it that none of my businesses ever work with Budget again.

Professional, friendly reps.

Cons:

The representative said his only vehicle available was delivered from the airport location and the car had a heavy smoke smell. He said I could take it to the airport location to swap for another car. I appreciate it made the offer but don’t understand why the airport location provided the car to the other location knowing of the smoke problem. I did drive the 6 miles to the airport to make the swap. Personnel at both locations were friendly and professional.

Your system (kayak) let me book a rental at an Avis location that wasn’t open on the day that I needed to pick it up. I didn’t find out about this until a few days before the rental when Avis called me. I had to find a new rental and process has gone up significantly. I used Priceline this time.
