seamless operationPros:everything was seamless, the staff were very helpful too. I was apprehensive of the lack of firm booking confirmation from kayak, all I had was a reservation. but my concerns were unfounded, we got exactly what we ordered and loved the car!!Cons:there was some ambiguity around charges and I wish they would include basic insurance in the prices at the comparison stage. you end up paying about twice as much as you think.Reviewed 6 Sep. 2017

Not the easiest car pick up, but not the worst either!Pros:I liked the fact that the car rental place has its own station on the air train route. Relatively straightforward at the counter although time consuming. Car ran well and did what it was supposed to d. Too cold for convertible top down.Cons:Enterprise is the furthest away for the weary traveller. You do have to go from one line at the counter to another line at the point of rental (Where the cars are!) which seems very inefficient. The car looked great, but then again it was very dark in the garage. When we got outside we found the car to be filthy inside and damp. The rear quarter window did not fully go up. The east were worn out and that is bad, as the car only had 30,000 miles on it. We did mention this to the lady at the return and she did take $50.00 off of the total price for us, which was nice of her.Reviewed 7 Nov. 2017

Pros:Excellent service and very easy.Cons:Unfortunately there were no cars available in the category I booked or even similar ones. I had a car that was perfectly comfortable, but not what I really wanted.Reviewed 4 Aug. 2016

Easy and painless rental processPros:Very easy kiosk checkin and very easy car return. Very nice system and operation.Cons:Bit of a slow journey from the airport terminal to the car rental center. But this is not the fault of Enterprise.Reviewed 20 Dec. 2016

Pros:Friendly and efficient staff at the airport.Cons:I called enterprise 3 times after my flight landed. All three representatives could not give me adequate information to contact the staff at the airport and twice gave me the wrong number. It was incredibly frustrating because my flight was late and the email I received with my confirmation said the rental car booth closed at 12am. My flight landed at 11:55pm. I was afraid i would be stranded at the airport and called enterprise for help. It was very stressful and no one on the phone was able to help me or tell me what to expect. Luckily I got to the rental and there was staff there to assist me.Reviewed 7 Dec. 2019

It's the Plaza Hotel of car rental companies.Pros:Everything! Customer service is impeccable on all levels and vehicles are spotless and usually with very low mileage. My rental hadn't even had its first oil change yet. I booked a "compact SUV" which I was offered, in addition to a 2016 4 Runner. I took the 4 Runner. Check in was at a kiosk and it was a breeze. They truly value your time and appreciate your business here. I got my vehicle in under 5 minutes and an employee was already checking my vehicle in upon return before I even got out of the car. I've rented from every company at SFO except for 1 and Enterprise blows them all away. I've never had such a positive experience renting a car in my life. But, their attentiveness to customer service blows my mind. At those rare times when Enterprise has higher rates than the competitors, I will still book with Enterprise because they're worth it. You get what you pay for. But, you will also find Enterprise to be the least expensive quite a fair amount of the time. All of this equals WINNING! Kudos to Enterprise SFO. They are beasts at their jobs!Cons:Nothing. A+ perfection all around!Reviewed 5 May 2016

Poor customer service at the front deskCons:I showed up at the front desk of the Enterprise car rental facility in SFO airport without a prior reservation. The attendant remarked something like "Because of shortage of cars the only car I can give you is an SUV at $140 per day." I was disappointed by the high price quote. I specified that the online price of Enterprise car rental from SFO is about 40+ dollars per day before taxes and other airport surcharges. Yet, the front desk personnel was adamant. So, using my smart phone, I booked an economy car rental online at $49.26 (+23.75 taxes) per day. I then avoided the front desk person by using the automated self check-in kiosk and arrived at the parking lot to pick up the car. The gentleman assigning me the car could not have been nicer. When he learnt about the boorish and unhelpful customer service I received at the front desk, he provided me a free upgrade from small economy to a moderate-sized sedan. Further, I discovered that there were still plenty of sedans (not just SUVs) available at the SFO Enterprise rental facility. Thus, the guy at the front desk was lying or bluffing, plain and simple.Reviewed 25 Jun. 2017
