Pros:The man at the service desk for the pickup was extremely friendly and personable, and the only reason I didn’t feel entirely cheated by my experience.Cons:There is no mention of the additional security deposit at any point prior to making the reservation, even if you pay for the vehicle ahead of time, and they will attempt to force you into paying a cancellation fee if you’re unable to cover the surprise $200 deposit. Cons:I reserved this car for pickup at a designated location and at a designated time, and then also for drop off at a designated location and at a designated time. At no point during my rental exprience - online or in person - did anyone inform me that the location that I'd selected for drop off was actually closed. I am still stuck with this vehicle until the location opens back up (it has been two days). I have tried repeatedly to get assistance through Hertz customer service and it has been a nightmare. So far, the best information I've received is an acknowledgment that the company screwed up, but that they intend to charge me for the days I've been stuck with this car with nowhere to return it. I want a refund -- this has been nowhere near worth it.Reviewed 26 Dec. 2019

Pros:NothingCons:The wait for a car would have been 2 hours. There were no cars available, I had a reservation but that did not matter. Employees not truthful! I completed the initial paper work that included paying A security deposit if 500 dollars. I CANCELLED MY RESERVATION AND WENT TO AVIS THAT WAS 10 STEPS TO THE LEFT OF HERTZ FRONT COUNTER. Berminham Airport. You have morons working for you. This is your review and do not contact me, if you do I will expose you on social media and start a campaign of ni or using HertzReviewed 30 May 2021

Pros:The staff was so friendly. I already had my reservation but wanted an upgrade. The car wasn’t ready but they worked as quickly as they could to get me a new contract while they got the car ready. In a short 15 minutes I had a beautiful Cadillac CTS and I was on my way. Pros:Oh the staff was great, the car was fine (despite the fact that the USB port was non-op)Cons:I could not add my Hertz Gold number to the reservation. Hertz said I needed to cancel the reservation, and re-book directly with Hertz if I wanted to add my Gold number. Of course I would have to lose the rate that I got through you.
