Cons: Hotel in complete renovation. Photos not in line with the reality. Quite impossible to sleep because of machine working.
Please refer to our review of the hotel on Trip Advisor under Stella. We gave this hotel a very bad review and our intent is to give Priceline a very bad review as well for charging us over xxx night for such below average accommodation.Pros: Two out of the three receptionists were kind.Cons: Location decor tiny space less than desirable cleanliness no kleenex bare necessities card to insert into wall for electricity, card not in room on arrival we could list so much more
Pros: The staff is friendly and helpfulCons: The hotel is 2 stars at best
Not 3 stars, barely 2 stars. Location is awful, not touristy, and a bit low and sketchy area. Rooms and matress were awful. The matress we had was smaller than the box spring, and i fell off the edge a few times. Shower are less than small, standing units with a disgusting shower curtain. Bed sheets were not clean. And it was extremely hot without fan or a/c. Even the elevator was broken had to carry two pieces of luggage up and down 6 flights of stairs. Metro is nearly 10-15 minutes away. If you pricelined this place, start feeling bad.Pros: Nothing. Worst experience ever. Not 3 stars, barely 2.Cons: Everything. Location, necessities. Even the elevator was broken had to carry two pieces of luggage up and down 6 flights of stairs. Metro is nearly 10-15 minutes away.
Staying at this hotel was the worst part of our trip. I cant believe its classified as 3 star, when its not worthy of even two. I cant say about Europe, but many of US two star motels are much nicer. We had many problems: 1. Rooms are really tiny, hard to fit in luggage along with two kids and two adults. We had to literally walk over each other to get across the room. The beds are very small. They gave us a room with double bed and a folding cot. We somehow managed but not pleased at all. 2. There is no central AC in the hotel. We didn't realize and never bothered to ask since its pretty standard and expected of 3 star hotels. They could not even arrange a fan for us during the three nights we stayed, and the room was quite hot. We had to open the window to let fresh air in but the street noise was too loud and we couldn't sleep properly due to heat, humidity and noise. 3. The bathroom was the dirtiest I have ever seen and shower area was separated by a cheap curtain that couldn't hold the water inside. As a result, the floor became messy as soon as the first person takes a shower. 4. They still use old style door locks and keys and don't tell you that the keys need to be dropped off in the morning for the room to be cleaned. Apparently, housekeeping doesn't have spare keys. 5. There is no iron in the room. 6. There is a safe but no instructions on how to use it. 7. There are loud noises during the night as you have to open windows to let fresh air in. We did not feel safe, there were people talking just outside the window. Could hear all conversations from people in next room and could hear the water running every time they used the toilet or sink. 8. The metro station is not very close, about four blocks. 9. Listed in the Arc De Triomphe area but not close to it. Have to change two trains to get there, about half an hour total. In summary, the hotel was horrible and I am very disappointed in the star rating, will never trust priceline with hotels.Pros: Although its very hard to think of something nice about this hotel, the staff was courteous and breakfast was okay.Cons: Plenty of dislikes: Rooms are tiny. Bathroom was very dirty and the shower spilled water all over bathroom floor. No AC in the hotel, asked for a fan three times, couldn't get one, had to keep window open. Lot of street noise
I will never go back there again.Pros: Very good hotel staff!Cons: Old room with broken en matresses! NO air conditioning.
Given the chance again I would gladly pay $100 more for a 4star room opposed to this which claims to be a 3star, very doubtful.Pros: NACons: Room was very outdated, smelled of smoke and felt dirty. I was just glad I only spent a minimal amount of time in the room itself.
I really liked this hotel. Other than the room size, I thought it was a really nice place to stay for the money. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. I am planning to visit Paris again in the future with my husband and I plan on staying at this same hotel.Pros: I loved the staff they were so friendly and accomodating. Also, the hotel is in a really nice area. I was traveling with my daughters and my mother and we felt really safe.Cons: The rooms were really, really small. I imagined that the hotel rooms would be similar to rooms at a Marriott or any other big name hotel chain, where you can comfortably sleep four people. Once we got there I had to get an additional room.
I will never stay there again. This hotel desperately needs renovation. Everything is worn out. Wifi didn't work. I learned my lesson and I will never try Priceline's Name Your Own Price again because I didn't get a good value for my money (the hotel was cheaper on other sites), I got a hotel that nobody wants to stay instead. Really disappointed.Pros: staff was helpfulCons: This hotel desperately needs renovation. Everything is worn out. Wifi didn't work.
