When I went to pick up the car the woman at the counter told me she didn't have a car for me - that she only had enough cars for her people - I explained that I was one of her people and showed her my printed agreement and she still wouldn't give me a car - she seemed happy about screwing me over and wasting a day of my vacation - overall I'd say you guys suck6.8 Okay

Pros:
Neither pick up or drop off was great. The worse is that instead of getting the compact car I requested, I had to drive a SUV (1st time doing so) for 3 days, several hundred miles. And had to wait for 10 minutes to turn car over at airport when done. Also couldn't get tail gate to lift, finally did but not easy. Ad car was only 3/4 full...Cons:

Arriving at the Fort Lauderdale Airport there were no gas stations on the way in so we could not fill up the car and were charged $10 a gallon!!10.0 Wonderful

Pick up was poor. Received email directing me to pick up location at ritz Carlton that had been closed for months. Wasted 25 minutes going there to be directed back to original pick up location. Car was ready over an hour later than reserved.2.0 Poor

Instead they canceled my reservation and said they did not have any cars, and when I asked if they could give me any vehicle type, did not have to be the van I requested, they said I cannot be helped and to try another place.7.2 Good

Pick up staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. He was excellent and explain everything above and beyond our expectation. The drop-off was the complete opposite. I think the lady at the drop-off require customer training or you will start losing customers to National, Alamo, etc. She had NO CONCEPT of a customer. She was on the phone and I can tell it was a personal conversation for about 10 minutes with me waiting!Cons:
Also, the rude attendant that was on her personal phone call, could have explain more curiously that returning the vehicle one day early would only result in a dollar or two refund. The nice gentleman during the pick up had mentioned a pro-rated refund which should have been $35.92. Our refund was only about 2 dollars. Anyway, we do appreciate the company service and will not make the rude attendant at drop-off spoil the entire experience. Cannot win everything.4.0 Mediocre

There were no cars available, Kayak should not have let me book. I spent money and time I didn’t have getting to the Hertz location only to spend more money and time figuring out how to get around without a car.Avis

I enjoyed the drivability of the car and the look of the car. It was clean inside and out and everything worked as it should.Cons:
I had to wait for it when I went to pick it up for about 45 mins. It had some scratches and a small dent, but nothing major. The trunk area was very dirty as if someone was hauling yard materials like mulch.8.0 Very Good
