Cons:
I arrived at the drop off in West Palm Beach at 8pm. They closed at 6pm. I returned at 8am to drop off car. I asked if they were charging me for another day. No answer from AVIS employee. She walked away and came back and handed me a bill. I told her I would keep the car until 5pm which was the official drop off. She said it was too late and refused to give me back the keys. She charged me $295 for the second day even thought the receipt showed an additional day at $127. I called customer service and they said they have nothing on their end indicating a price for an additional day. I will settle the matter in small claims court because their corporate greed is disgusting.4.0 Mediocre

No explanation was given to me regarding charges. I picked up the car in Fort Lauderdale around 9AM. I dropped off the car in West Palm Beach the next day around 930 AM. I was charged an extra thirty dollars for not returning the car within 24 hours. Even though the reservation clearly stated the drop off time was the next day at 10am.2.0 Poor

Pros:
Hello - I reserved the car for my boss. I then learned the location was not in fact in the airport as the website had lead me to believe. Then when I asked for a pick up from our offices a pick up was not available. We ended up just cancelling the reservation. I haven't checked the CC statement yet. But as soon as I do I will be contacting you for a refund.Budget

I reserved my car 10 days in advanced on kayak and budget didn't even have 1 single car. So I had to go to enterprise and pay 100.00 more then what my reservation was suppose to be through kayak. I WILL NEVER USE KAYAK OR BUGET AGAIN NOR WILL I EVER RECOMMEND EITHER ONE OF THEM!2.0 Poor

Arrived to west palm beach only to be told that no cars were available. I had a confirmed reservation. The gentleman on the phone informed that that he had “30 reservations and no cars. Sorry.” Terrible customer service, no alternates or compensation provided. Never received a vehicle. Horrible, horrible company. I wish zero stars was an option.2.0 Poor

We hadn't ordered a vehicle from Budget for a long time, since our last rental experience with them was not good, so we decided , since their price looked good, we would give them another shot... BIG MISTAKE!! We ordered a large Ford E series van.in the West Palm Beach area. On the morning of the rental, we got a call saying they didn't have it. We were told that the airport location did have one, so we could just pick one up there, and the price would be matched. However, when we arrived the customer service rep told us he had to get one over from Avis... while we waited I wanted to confirm the price match.Cons:
The manager ( a black female) of the Palm Beach airport location was absolutely rude, accused my husband of threatening her job? This was because we wanted her to honor the price we had been given by the other Budget location that did not have the vehicle available. She said she was going to put us on the "DO NOT RENT TO" list??? She was totally inflexible and unable to compromise to keep our business. Well, after our horrible experience with Budget, don't worry... Budget is on OUR " DO NOT RENT FROM" list! We went over to Enterprise, which was right next to Budget... we were greeted warmly by a beautiful young lady who had excellent customer service skills. We went out to their car lot and got to CHOOSE the vehicle we wanted! Wow! Such a difference when we are treated with respect and fairly! Budget lost our business; their manager's comments were unacceptable; we will not be back.
