Money SuckingPros:It was super easy to find for pick up and drop off. The car was cleanCons:I was quoted a number and told to pay the insurance online because it would be more expensive at the shop,so I did. What wasn't told is that doesn't cover everything like if you hit another vehicle. So I booked the car on the basis that the car was $218 and $90 for insurance. To show up saying that I needed liability for the car and also another amount since there are tolls. I ended up paying 441$ on top of the 90$ insurance I already had paid. I couldn't say no I was in a bind at the point of already paying insurance and needed to get to a wedding hours away. You surely lost my business for next time as well as any recommendations.Reviewed 11 Dec. 2017

Pros:Thrifty was really a very good experience. The car was fine and the personnel at Thrifty were very helpful.Cons:KAYAK messed up the rental. When I went online to rent the vehicle, I put in the Orlando MCO airport as my pickup. I signed up unwittingly for a rental in the Orlando Sanford airport some 30 miles away. Thrifty was willing to switch the rental to the airport I landed in, (MCO) but wanted about twice the price. I had to rent a one way vehicle, for about $100 from MCO to Sanford and waste hours of time to get the car I wanted. The re A bad experience that left me with a thought that I would never use KAYAK again. Worse yet, I could not find a telephone number for KAYAK to straighten up the mess. No thanks KAYAK, you Customer Service from my point of view does not exist to straighten out any problems that come up.Reviewed 20 Feb. 2017

Pros:The car started and got me from point A to point BCons:At pick up the attendant was rude and acted as though I was bothering her. Had no clue where other cities in Florida were. Drop off was a nightmare. No signs marked Thrifty had to drive around the lot several times to find anyone to answer a question. Had to park in short term parking to return key and finish paper work They ask for mileage, How was I supposed to know, the car was across the street. it took longer than the allowed time for short parking so I had to pay for that. Oh, would have been nice to know Hertz bought Thrifty. Probably won't bother renting from either in the future.Reviewed 17 Mar. 2017

Pros:Ken was amazing! He made the process so painless and was extremely helpful. I have rented a lot of cars from many different companies and he is by far the best employee I have ever worked with. The price was a little expensive but the car was pretty new and nice.Cons:Both the Thrifty and Dollar counters were combined and so the wait was extremely long.Reviewed 4 May 2016

Overall okPros:The value and the interior cleanliness of the car was good, as well as the return of the vehicle.Cons:Although I don't expect perfection for the price we paid, I shouldn't have to spend 30 minutes taking pictures of the exterior to document damage, especially in a dimly lit area in the evening hours, and then pointing all the damage out to the exit guard. We had a two hour drive after we landed and this was an unnecessary delay. The vehicle had damage on most every side, but primarily the rear which appeared to be collision related. There was also adhesive marks on every door and trunk opening. Based upon my profession, it appears to have been evidence tape. In regards to the damage, it was not functional damage, but to provide better customer assistance and convenience, a damage report should be provided to the customer documenting existing damage so only non-documented damage need be reported upon exit. Although this was Florida the heavy bugs could have been washed from the front of the vehicle.Reviewed 11 Jul. 2017

Pros:Palo was very pleasant, friendly, and helpful at check out.Cons:New(ish) car had gum on the floor carpet pad in back right side. Didn't care for the slight "scare" tactics for purchasing the EZPass temporary card. Would have been best to have toll details for direction heading (costs), as well as ability to get change at the check out counter. Kind of weird to be required to leave the last gas receipt in the car (and be within 10 miles of airport)! Thank you ~Reviewed 27 Jul. 2017
