Pros:

Helpful staff.

Cons:

I believed this location was at MSY, but it was not. I had to take a 25 minute Uber ride to the actual location. I will need to be more careful on selecting next time. I was sure that I selected MSY. :(

Despite having a reservation they didn’t actually have any cars. The wait for a car was an hour and half and the seating area was full of people waiting for cars. I had a scheduled tour so I had to call another company for a car. Not sure what is going on but Budget needs to figure things out.

One of the clerks were very rude. My pickup time was supposed to be noon. I waited until almost 2:00.

Staff were unfriendly and unhelpful at both locations for my one-way rental. At the pickup, they had overbooked, and I had to wait over an hour for a car to come in (some people with reservations were turned away). I was also told I had to buy their insurance to take the car, and had to work very hard to get that charge removed.

I wanted to pickup and return my car rental at the airport (MSY), but the rental location Kayak gave me was 30 mins away and required the additional rental of an uber or lift ride. I should have been warned my rental location was not compatible with my airport.

We could not pick up any car. They said they were sold out. So, why did Kayak send me a email with a confirmation number for the rental?

They didn’t have our car on time, meaning that we had to take a temporary one and come back again later that day. When we got the type we’d reserved it was making a noise in the rear breaks.

Pros:

Very friendly staff. One staff member offered to even drive us to the airport for 10% less than an Uber so we didn't have to wait for one or move our luggage!

Cons:

The woman we signed out papers with could have talked a bit slower. She spoke so quickly we had to ask multiple times for her to repeat herself. But she was very friendly and helpful!

Great price compared to others. Hertz cancelled my reservation as I was getting on the plane. Fine Found this last minute. No complaints.

Cons:

They push the insurance scam real hard. They try to tell you you got to have proof of personal insurance with you. I walked out the door.

Pros:

The staff was somewhat friendly but they are stuck in a fowl location and many of there customers are turned away and unhappy.

Cons:

They could have clearly stated in big letters that they don’t rent to any one who doesn’t have proof of full collision auto insurance.

Need to ensure proper maintenance of the vehicle before renting them we rented a smoke vehicle with flat tire.

The cruise control didn’t work. The drivers side window switch was intermittent. Downgraded from 2020 model car to 2017 at checkin...
