The Budget online system directed us to a location that had zero cars. We had to go with all of our luggage to second location. Our order confirmed by credit card was for a convertible Mustang or similar. The second location doesn't have any convertible cars at all. Because of Budget we wasted 3 hours. They offered us only one uncomfortable car, which was not even washed. I expect a refund. I paid for something completely different, plus Budget caused a long delay in my journey, which impacted the day.

Pros:

Houston staff was helpful and understanding.

Cons:

Pickup in New Orleans could have been better: the representative did not give us a chance to inspect the car nor did he notate the amount of gas in the tank. Luckily we took a photo showing the tank was not full when we received the car, because in Houston at drop off they were expecting the car to be full until we explained and had the picture as proof. We also discovered while driving that one of the headlights was out, which the New Orleans representative did not inform us/note down, but the Houston representative noticed immediately before we even told him.

I wanted to pickup and return my car rental at the airport (MSY), but the rental location Kayak gave me was 30 mins away and required the additional rental of an uber or lift ride. I should have been warned my rental location was not compatible with my airport.

They didn’t have our car on time, meaning that we had to take a temporary one and come back again later that day. When we got the type we’d reserved it was making a noise in the rear breaks.

This rental location is a complete disaster. It is a hertz office and they have NO idea what they are doing. Booked the reservation, called to confirm they had a car, arrived to pick up and just like the previous time I attempted to rent from this location, NO CAR. Had to pitch a fit to finally get them to honor a reservation. Two people on calls with customer service in the waiting area to address their concerns. It is a joke. I make every effort to rent from Enterprise when I need a local rental and try to avoid this location at all costs.

I didn’t have a very good experience with Ace. They cars Are very old and apparently are being used for personal vehicles by one of the employees. I brought my vehicle back, gassed up and timely on Thursday, June 13. This is the morning of Friday, June 14. I still don’t have the rental agreement and I still don’t have my $400 deposit back. Which is causing me to miss my flight this morning to Washington DC, that $400 was a part of my expense account and as a result of not having it back, (because they did not process the paperwork timely) I’m in trouble with my job. Needless to say, I’m not very happy with Ace car rental.😩

We are very desappointed because we did not pay the price we booked (about +50%) because there were lots of additionnal charges like the mandotory assurance (we didn’t know we needed to proove that we had a personnal assurance, if so, we should asked a proof to our insurrance to avoid the additionnal charges), a deposit of 2000$ and we were charged because we paid it by card, the car was old with lots of miles and they told us we were not allowed to drive 200miles away from New Orleans. Hopefully our trip was next New Orleans, but if you want to make a road trip it’s a problem. The last, but not least you can read on the door office that the price can change depending on the customer ! I really don’t recommand this Rental.

Pros:

Very friendly staff. One staff member offered to even drive us to the airport for 10% less than an Uber so we didn't have to wait for one or move our luggage!

Cons:

The woman we signed out papers with could have talked a bit slower. She spoke so quickly we had to ask multiple times for her to repeat herself. But she was very friendly and helpful!

They push the insurance scam real hard. They try to tell you you got to have proof of personal insurance with you. I walked out the door.

Pros:

The staff was somewhat friendly but they are stuck in a fowl location and many of there customers are turned away and unhappy.

Cons:

They could have clearly stated in big letters that they don’t rent to any one who doesn’t have proof of full collision auto insurance.
