Car was clean & in good condition. Excellent communication from everyone especially the manager Tess & the lady who checked us out at the gate, they could not have been friendlier or more helpful. One exception of when picking up the young lady did not seem to know we were covered for insurance & presented us with a bill for $99 she said which was for an extra day, we were not taking an extra day which was clearly stated on our rental voucher (which she did not want to see) I questioned the amount to be charged & this was amended immediately. Overall would definitely use this service again.Reviewed 6 Jan 2022

Cons:Waited an hour to pick up the car from Oakland airport. Once inside it didn't smell or look very clean. The Passat they gave me got great gas mileage though.Reviewed 12 Oct 2020

Pros:The lady was very friendly but I had to wait over 45 minutes. Going across the bridges, it was a bit unclear how much Hertz will charge me?Cons:The wait time could have been a LOT less...also, make it clear about crossing the bridges in the Bay Area.Reviewed 6 Oct 2020

Pros:The staff in Santa Rosa and Sacramento were helpfulCons:They rented a car that should not have been rented out. The tires were bald with tread flaking off. The tank was nearly empty and the change oil indicator was lit. The registration was also about to expire if I hadn't exchanged the vehicle at the Santa Rosa location. It was an awful experience and we lost time from our vacation handling the car issue.Reviewed 7 Jan 2020
