The Hertz rental office in JFK seems to be severly understaffed, I had a thursday night rental (not during any major holidays) and it took nearly three hours to get my car that was reserved and pre paid for. The employees were strugling to keep up with the demand, but to their credit, they remained composed and for the most part profesional despite being obviously exhausted. Hertz needs to staff that office properly.Reviewed 28 July 2024

Was traveling to NYC for Christmas and had to cancel because of the COVID spike that is going on. Even a family member has COVID. I could cancel the hotel reservation and flight without penalty. But having to pay $100 penalty for a rental car even when it was informed of the situation that is out of my control is inhumane. Not going to use this service ever again.Reviewed 25 Dec 2021
