Cons: Dirty and rundown

Cons: breakfast area was small, cluttered and had a bad layout which made navigating the food line and seating difficult. The rest of the amenities were fine and the location is very good for dining and access to seaport area.

Cons: Too pricey for wkend

Cons: Not sure if it’s the area but lots of people going in and out and the hall ways always smelled like weed

Cons: 1) The curtains could not be drawn completely closed to blockout the sunlight early in the morning. 2) One pair of elevators was out of commission so every elevator ride was dreadfully packed with guests 3) The ironing board was a nightmare to setup. It was probably broken

Cons: My stay wasn't long enough!

Cons: Construction around the site made access less trhan ideal.

Cons: My room had no view or seating area (so I suspect that I did not get the room I reserved) Cell phone reception was very terrible. It was raining but they did not have a spare umbrella to offer me.

Cons: Breakfast options were limited and exactly the same everyday

Cons: Old and outdated, worn out pillows, sheets, and ammenitis.

Cons: The self check-in system failed, but the front desk staff were very helpful.

Cons: The only negative that I could possibly mention is the water pressure wasn't as strong as I like. Other than that, everything was wonderful.

Cons: Better housekeeping and maintenance required - it's far from filthy and broken-down, but as an experienced traveler, I can see signs that things are being given a lick and a promise instead of the required cleaning and maintenance. My son's white socks were BLACK on the soles from walking around the carpeted room.

Cons: A small thing, but the inside of the toilet bowl looked like it was poorly patched, and the overall result made it look as if someone had thrown up in it. It was a little off-putting every time we raised the lid.

Cons: Breakfast is not included in stay, so beware as the breakfast buffet and a cup of tea came out to $24. Since New York is full of great restaurants and places to grab brunch, I always prefer to grab a tasty bite elsewhere.

Cons: The continental breakfast is limited: cereal, pastries, boiled eggs and coffee--until it runs out at 8:30am. No yogurt or fruit?

Cons: Breakfast selection was rather limited. The staff, while they did respond to our questions and requests, always seemed unhappy to do so. A smile wouldn't hurt.

Cons: Needs some updating. Luggage stand in room was broken. Room had very few electrical outlets.

Cons: Small rooms, charged for internet, elevator breakdown three times during stay

Cons: My short stay (only 2 days). I should have stayed longer.

Cons: All my hangers were broken, and the tv in the gym was working one day and disconnected the next day.

Cons: The people at the reception desk seemed very short and unavailable. Upon entering the hotel no one was even there to check us in. Also, when we called the desk for information, they weren't terribly accommodating. It was the only hotel I'd ever been in where reception was so unsavory.

Cons: The room was small. The king size bed took up about half the room, but we were only staying a night so we didn't mind. Also, the parking was a few blocks away, not well marked and a bit pricey (it is NYC after all). It was a bit of a hike to get to Central Park, Times Square etc. but the Statue of Liberty and 9/11 memorial/Freedom Tower are a short walk. No need for a cab or subway.

Cons: Noise outside our room door. The ice machine was right by our door as were other room doors. We very clearly heard someone getting ice as if they were in our room with us and we heard a couple speaking as they entered their very nearby room but each incident occurred only once so it didn't really bother us or take away from our otherwise very good experience.

Cons: The bed was not the best.

Cons: The rooms were a bit smaller than What I was use to.....but comfortable bed

Cons: The vendor machine at 10th floor doesn't work.

Cons: A little noisy at night with doors slamming. Cramped room.

Cons: The smoking floor, the wake up call that never happened, the false advertisement for valet parkind.

Cons: Rooms are too overcrowded. Can barely walk around my room. Very small rooms make me feel very clostophobic. Workers misinformed me about parking and had to pay full price for parking instead of getting discounted rate.

Cons: The room was small. The bathroom was even smaller. Could barely close the door once you step in. The elevator took forever to get to my floor. Over 10+ minutes. When the elevator doors finally opened, it's packed with people. I had to go down 13 flights of stairs with luggages! Not happy at all!

Cons: Bathroom design is too crampy, no place to put extra toiletries. there was no refrigerator in my room.

Cons: ELEVATORS.... this was ridiculous.. they only have 3 elevators for 50 floors and each one hold about 4 grow adults. IF you stay here be prepared to wait 20 min for an elevator to go anywhere. Will NOT stay her again for this reason alone.

Cons: Not much first off tried to charge me twice for the room had to have the manager out to get it straight even with documentation the room needed some work remote didn't work had to stuff a wash cloth in the tub to stop the drain at midnight the maintenance guy wok me up to ask if the AC was working I travel for buisness 300 days a year some nicer than others I would put this one close to the bottom parking was also an issue told me they had an association with a garage a block away true but it Didn't take full size vehicles such as a suburban so I was on my own a mile or to away all in all I guess I tried to save a few $$$ wasn't what I expected

Cons: My room never have any outside light because it was surrounded by tall building and it feels like night all day.

Cons: Shower, cleanliness Of hotel (not room), and all of the writings they had for guests were in poor and broken English.

Cons: The sanitation conditions of this hotel are deplorable. I found pubic hairs all over the bathroom (fixtures, floor, walls), the hardwood floor was sticky, and the walls themselves we're in very poor repair - covered in marks scratches, gashes, etc. I brought this information to the front desk and was put in a "suite" which is a room with identical conditions, but a separate kitchen space. I had one short-and-curly at eye level in my shower - which remained plainly and visibly stuck to the wall for the 4 day duration of my stay. The toilet stopped flushing on my first day. The floors are pitched and uneven, the elevator is barely functional. The corridors do not pass ADA standards. The room doors look like they were salvaged from several other buildings and don't work properly - my room door had to be pulled shut whenever I left the room. All in all I have to say this was one of the worst hotel stays I've had. I've stayed in crappy motels that weren't much better (still better) but there, I know what I was getting into and was paying an appropriate price for the level of facility. I feel that the descriptions for this hotel are misleading and deceptive, and I would never stay in this hotel again - ever.

Cons: Adding a take-out food service menu

Cons: No pool. Absolutely no parking. (Do not count on finding parking near by or on the streets). They told me they had a deal with the parking garage next door and when I got there they did not accept my car because "they were full" so I had to run around looking for an open parking and take a cab back to the hotel afterwards.

Cons: was not the same place shown in photos

Cons: At first glance, the room looked amazing! The modern amenities and style were welcoming, but when I looked a little deeper it was hard to ignore the fact that the wear and tear of the room was taking its toll. The wood around the sink was badly warped. The sink didn't drain properly. The floor was cheap. The faux-wood laminate was warped and felt greasy under my feet.

Cons: The pictures online were nothing like what the hotel really looks like. The lobby is ok but past that it's very seedy. It should be rated no more than two stars. Outside of the rooms, I was on the fourth floor, there's no air conditioning and it's all torn up in the hallways on the way to the elevator. The room was very basic. I would never stay here again.
