Pros: I really enjoy staying here. It's a bit noisy sometimes (tho you impressed my colleague who was also staying with you with the portal pillow.) The staff are great, the rooms are reasonable size compared to New York's miniscules like the Hudson, the Standard. And everything is thoughtful. The quality of the interior and beds is impressive too. Particularly happy about the toothpaste and the Bigelows supplies. Makes it feel spa like. The staff are very helpful and charming including all the housekeeping and maintenance folk. I intend to stay often. And I have recommended all my colleagues to stay here. I'm from Sapient. It might be worth doing some kind of corporate deal with us.

Pros: The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, willing to assist with anything. They gave us a late check on our last day which was especially kind of them. The rooms are very large and the shower is one of the best I've experienced. We did not visit the on-site restaurant so we have no comment on that.

Pros: Love the bohemian feel but our first interaction was with a a very rude front desk. Hard to get past that, especially as you’re handing them your credit card. Rooms are painfully small but bed was very comfortable and in perfect condition. Greenwich Village is a delight and many locals seemed to visit the bar, which was lovely. Complimentary continental breakfast was a treat.

Pros: This place is priced right. It's not quite high end, but it's a big step up from the average NJ motel. The single I stayed in was exactly as described. About the size of a walk in closet, I nevertheless slept in comfort and didn't mind the bathrooms down the hall which were clean. As a nice touch, they provide slippers for walking back and forth. Pros: The renovated rooms were very nice, however, they had been recently painted and the fumes were overwhelming, so I was transferred to one of the older, non-renovated rooms. Although the bed and furnishings were new (sheets, pillows and wall mounted TV, the walls (paint and plaster) and carpet were what you would expect in a no-tell motel. Also, most of the rooms "shared" a bathroom. Your bedroom had it's own door and you had to leave your room to go into a bathroom which was used by another room. It worked out fine. Still, it is a great value ($65/night booked in advance) for the location! I ended up taking very few cabs as I walked to most everything I wanted to see that weekend. Subway stop is a block away if you like. Good restaurants close by, great stores, etc.

It's clean, the staff is great, the guests all seem to respect both privacy and quiet, the bathrooms were spotless and the rooms, while very small, had storage space for your bag, a clean bed and a small bed side table/desk. Pros: I used to live in Manhattan, and I think the location and convenience are unbeatable. At first the price may not seem outstanding, but once you consider that you have a kitchen and can accommodate families or groups, it becomes very attractive. The location makes it possible to return to the hotel multiple times a day if you want to change clothes or drop off shopping bags or just get a cheap lunch. I'll definitely keep this place in mind for other trips to NYC.

Pros: It was cheap. Great location on 14 th street and with a subway near the hotel. The personel were friendly and helpful. It was quiet and calm at the hotel, we were not bothered by any noise. The room was clean and had everything we needed: big comfortable double bed, an well functioning air conditioning, clean towels, refrigerator, freezer, sink, stove, pots, pans, glasses, a clock radio, cupboards, hangers and a dresser. The furniture were new (low quality, not ugly, just neutral), but the interior was old (a good thing) with wooden floor, white walls, high ceilings and with a large window out to a nice backyard with trees. The look of the hotel including our room was: rundown, but clean. It was New York in a lowbudget but very cool way!
