I phone enterprise advantage following concerns about fluid escaping from the car I had stopped at night at the side of a motorway. I was told breakdown would contact me within an hour. 3 hours later I was told no one would come out to me because I had not purchased optional breakdown cover and therefore I would have to pay for towing back to sanFrancisco. Check in was quick... Although we usually use google maps to navigate, it was VERY HELPFUL to have a paper road map of the area for times WHEN we had no internet service :) !!! The car was ready when we got there and they also had made a copy of exactly where to drop off the car (in a different city) The care was washed and clean with low mileage so no problems along the way....The tank was only half filled with gas, we could return with half a tank.Sixt

I was able to book my rental with my credit card however when I went to pick up my rental the guy at the counter told me that you didn’t except my credit card and he would not even refund my money I had to actually call In and have you guys refund it through the Internet never would recommend nor use your company againHertz

They did not have a car for me - or for at least two couples who had arrived ahead of me. They did not have a car for me the following day, either, and just shrugged their shoulders and said "there are no cars". At that late date, I wasn't able to find a rental car at another agency, either. Given that I had made the reservation several months ago and paid upfront, I found this completely unacceptable and will never rent from them again.7.2 Good

Hertz rented this vehicle to me in San Francisco with only enough gas for 30miles. (Gas stations are difficult to find in the city). Also they gave me a much smaller car than advertised for the same price, claiming that it was in the same class. I wanted a large SUV but was given a very small one with almost no storage.2.0 Poor
