Hertz canceled my appointment and moved the rental to another inconvenient location the night before the rental was due. The new hertz also lost my ezpass and the car felt old and way passed it's prime.Reviewed 8 Nov 2021

Cons:Got into a small accident and was left stranded by Hertz. It took 2.5 hours to confirm a tow truck was even on the way. Then Hertz's solution was having me drive on a donut for 45 miles in the wrong direction to pick up a replacement car. This added 6 hours to my drive. Also, it was a 50/50 shot as to whether employees would be helpful. Was hung up on 2x by Emergency Roadside Assistance and had to keep calling back and getting put back in the queue. It was MADDENING and made a stressful situation way worse than it needed to be.Reviewed 7 Oct 2019

Cons:i have not been informed that i need to have deposit money on my credit card and that hertz will block my money. the thing that was written in my confirmation was "due at the counter = 0", and nothing about the 200 $ more that hertz wanted from me. overall a poor experienceReviewed 12 May 2019

Terrible experience, never using Hertz againPros:Nothing positive to say. This was the worst car rental experience I've ever had.Cons:When I arrived to pick up my rental car, it was not there and they had no cars of equal or greater size at that location. I ended up having to use a another rental car that someone had just returned (and had not yet been cleaned) to drive an hour back in the direction I originally came from to pick up the rental I had reserved. Hertz knew all day that my car was not going to be there but I never received a phone call letting me know, they had no creative solutions for resolving this before I arrived and offered no extra benefits (free upgrade? No; Discount? No; Credit toward next rental?; No) other than allowing me to return the car to a Hertz location closer to my home. I will NEVER use Hertz ever again!Reviewed 14 Oct 2017
