Drop off was great. Getting the car terrible. Huge lineup and from what I heard it’s always like this. They should have at least 8 people working the desk. They have at most 4 or 5. Waited over 1h. The llineup is with dollar and thrifty at Orlando. So Wine in fro t of me told me 2 weeks ago she waited over 3h. So wo e else said it takes at least 1.5h-2h to pick up your car with them.

The car was cancelled at the last minute. Agent said no cars were to be found in Orlando. To the agent’s benefit he was right. I could tell he was sorry my reserved car hadn’t been returned. I had to reschedule hotel reservations, and visits for the next week.

I couldn’t pick-up the car. The agent said they are not accepting Romanian driver license and told me to call the airport agency and go there. This restrictive condition was nowhere on their website and the support from the agent was nil

Car smelled like weed and cigs refused to switch cars

Pros:

Hertz contacted us that they did not have a car the day before we arrived and we still have no received our refund.

Cons:

As a company you should not allow booking a vehicle you do not have availability for. Horrible customer service will never use this site again.

Pros:

Originally, the price I was quoted was good and the conformation came across just fine. But Hertz called the day before we were headed to Florida and that rental and said there was a "computer glitch" and the vehicle was unavailable.

Cons:

A confirmation should be a confirmation. Hertz also did NOTHING to fix the situation, like offering another option at the same price. What good is a good price from Kayak, when it doesn't get honored and then you have to run through hoops trying to make sure your payment gets credited. AWFUL EXPERIENCE

Pros:

Close to 48 hours of my departure they call and notify me that they had no available car. Which led me to pay a increase of $700 with another rental company due to being last minute.

Cons:

They could’ve called me 24 hours after my booking/let me know right away that they didn’t have any rentals available and not wait till last minute. Also, I had prepaid my rental of which prepaid vehicle if needed to cancel 24 hours prior you get a full refund. I had to call them directly to get my full refund since this was an error on their end. Overall bad experience! I couldn’t trust them anymore.

Pros:

The rental car was supposed to be at the Orlando International Airport. Instead, the rental was 30 minutes away from the airport and the rental place (Enterprise) was already closed by the time my rental was ready??? Doesn’t make too much sense.

Cons:

If I got my rental car... at the airport, not 30 mins away and not at a location that closed when my car was supposed to be picked up.
