Pros:Upon my arrival, a sign indicated to go to another car rental place due to Advantage being closed. Was not able to pay cash upon drop off which I was told that I could at drop off. The car was not adequate in size as per advertised. It indicated 4 suitcase, however only 2 medium size fit in the back.Cons:Cleaning of the back seat, stains were really visible after you let the arm rest up.Reviewed 9 Sep. 2020

Pros:Staff at the counter was not very friendly. Charged me a $150 deposit. When will that be returned?Cons:The sign for the counter at the Tampa airport is not very clear. We followed the signs and it led down to the garage and had to go back up to get the keys.Reviewed 20 Apr. 2021

Cons:There was no one at the counter when I arrived and the phone numbered given was no longer in service. That made me very leery and concerned. Even the 800 number said “we are not taking calls”, send us an email. After waiting over 25 minutes an agent arrived, but during the check in process he was very short and eventually became very, very rude. To the point that I walked away and rented else where. His name was AJ. It seems this company may be going out of business as while waiting I called Two other locations and their numbers were also not working. Pros:The price.Cons:You get what you pay for with Advantage rental car. The shuttle from the airport was slow and the customer service reps were robotic. They make you feel guilty if you don't get their insurance and try every sales pitch to get you to add it to your rental, as well as include the toll fees in your rental. They tried to get me into a larger car, "only $7/day extra" which would have cost an additional $70 at least. The car I got was dirty, dented, scratched and had almost 30,000 miles on it. It took me longer to complete the the damage paperwork than it did to get to my final destination. I won't rent from them again. In the future, I'll go with the larger, well known car rental companies. Like I said, you get what you pay for.Reviewed 13 Dec. 2015

Cons:It took a while for the shuttle to slow up once the pick up area was found. People at the airport were not friendly at all when asked where the shuttle area was at. Once at the "office" area, was disappointed at the variety of cars available. Online the ad indicated they had GM vehicles, only 1 on the lot - smaller than reserved. The car had some slight damage to it, no windshield fluid, dirty inside and the passenger seat was falling apart. The rental price was more than the price online. Personnel in the office were not very friendly. Actually they seemed more interested in their cell phones or something else than to rent a vehicle to us.Reviewed 29 Mar. 2016

Cons:We had reserved a midsize suv and ended up with a choice between a full.size suv which my husband did not want or a compact. The compact was a Nissan Sentra which actually was an okay car but would just like to get the cat that we had reserved months ago!
