Pros:Staff was friendly at Tampa...neutral at Fort Myers. Car was clean in general and drove fine for the week.Cons:Car was clean, but smelled of smoke. Other potentials had same issue so we just took ours. Took most of the week to get rid of the smoke smell (or we got used to it). Car would have been better with GPS included, but we had phones as backup. Rental costs was a little high for a week.Reviewed 29 May 2021

Pros:I was amazed how fast the line went at the Tampa airport facility. However, the line had about 250 people in it! That meant that they got people into about 100 cars in about 1 hr 45 min that we waited in line (after about 30 min upstairs to do the paperwork)Cons:The people upstairs could have been more forthright and given us more information about the line situation. We had no idea where to go, what line we were supposed to be in and finally asked our way to the end of the line that wrapped around and around. Nobody from Hertz upstairs explained the situation, or warned us what we were walking into. We are understanding that the problem was a surge in travel compounded by reduced inventory because of Covid, and my complaint is really about the car more than the service. We, after 2 hrs of waiting were offered the choice of a Silver Ford Fusion with a dented fender or a black Ford Fusion, which we took. All mechanicals functioned well, but the passenger seat was like sitting in a hole for my wife. The seat is too low, and visibility is limited for the passenger. I even tried looking up the car online to see if I was missing something, Obviously I wasn't going to get another car from the airport. The suggestions online were to put longer bolts under the seat with metal spacers. I didn't think that was a good choice on a rental. I even bought a cushion at Target to try to get her another inch, They don't make phone books anymore, so we just dealt with it for about 800 miles of driving in two weeks, but boy did I ever hear about it!. Please don't buy any more Fusions! I really liked the wipers that seemed to sense moisture and self adjusted through the rainstorms we had to negotiate.Reviewed 26 May 2021

Cons:Prices are too high for rental cars. Highest I have ever seen but as a consumer, we have no choice. Covid has killed it for vacationers. Now we are spending a great deal of our vacation money for the car.Reviewed 7 May 2021

Pros:Car was fineCons:Literally Waited 78 minutes in a huge line to pick up a car we had reserved in Tampa ! Rudest manger ever! She has a line all down the hallway but then stopped what she was doing to send two of the people to lunch in the middle of all this! A person complained snd she yelled out to the crowd “they have to go to lunch they are humans too”! She wasn’t even apologizing or anything to all of us PAYING customers just shrugged her shoulders like “to bad for you”! If you have a day where you gave a lot of rentals then why would you only have such a small amount of workers and a manger who clearly couldn’t handle the situation and clearly hates her job. The way she talked to the other workers was horrible! I for sure wouldn’t want to work for someone like that. Being rude to people just because you have the title of a manger is ridiculous.Reviewed 30 Apr. 2021

Pros:Staff at reservation counter was not helpful. Told us about two cars to go and pick from. When we went to find them there were no such cars. We were tired from traveling and were walking around trying to find cars that weren't there. thankfully the staff member in the garage kiosk helped us.Cons:It seemed the staff at reservation desk had no idea what cars were really available.Reviewed 17 Apr. 2021

Pros:The staff was friendly.Cons:I could have revived the car we paid for which we did not. The car also was filled by a smoker before we rented it so it smelled terrible. It was not dis-infected at all before we rented. The wait for the car when we arrived to Tampa was very long. The car was filthy inside and out.Reviewed 11 Apr. 2021

Pros:Awful experience. Nothing.Cons:Everything. I rented a 7 passenger SUV and they didn’t haven any when I got there so they gave me a minivan. The key FOB didn’t work so I couldn’t lock or unlock the doors. The back windshield wiper was broken so I couldn’t clean the back windshield and when I got in the van there were old meat wrappers in the middle console. Cons:The booking process was an absolute nightmare. I ended up with additional days added on and did not catch until after paid and then was unable to contact anyone. It kept changing days on me corrected it 3 times and must have missed this ias was getting frustrated thought process was high but attributed to the time of year and price gouging.Reviewed 26 Mar. 2021

Pros:Counter guy was not helpful and they charged us an additional $15/day just to add a driver. We weren't using their insurance so for them to add a name in the compute, it cost me almost $100. Felt like we were nickel and dimed.Cons:A nicer counter person.
