Pros:Friendly staff. Service easy to use.Cons:Would be nice if Enterprise shifted some vehicles from larger airports (TPA) to smaller ones (PIE) to account for increased traffic, especially considering it was spring break. I had to take an Uber between from PIE to TPA to get a car. Cars were sold out at PIE for 5-6 weeks before spring break, so Enterprise had plenty of time to address the logistical imbalance. This applies to all rental agencies, not just Enterprise/Alamo/National. Jeep Compass is a terrible vehicle overall. Our rental was a Limited so it had bells and whistles, but it's like putting glipstick on a pig; vehicle was unrefined, very loud road noise, weak engine, very little cargo space, seemed more like a subcompact than a compact SUV. Almost no useable storage space aside from small center console (a tiny pocket below console would hold key fob but not large enough for a cell phone), since most space was taken up by comically oversized bezels around LCD screen and controls. Volume and tuning knobs are too far from both the LCD screen and the driver, should be smaller and closer to screen. Terrible gas mileage for a modern compact SUV, especially considering the Compass is equipped with 'auto engine off' to conserve gas at stop lights. Small fuel tank for a vehicle with such poor mileage, which also means more stops to refuel than should be necessary. 'Advanced' features were crude and poorly implemented. Lane keep assist pinballed between left and right lane lines instead of keeping vehicle centered. Auto cruise control would apply brakes hard then accelerate hard to compensate. Android Auto support was buggy and would sometimes not work. Did like auto windshield wipers, and liked that one fog light would turn on to provide extra lighting when turning a corner.Reviewed 14 Apr 2021

Pros:The expedition was the right size. Easy to drive.Cons:The vehicle was not ready at agreed upon time. Had to wait almost an hour for workers to finish cleaning it. Still was not as clean as I thought it should be. Sand from beach still in it. Outside did not look freshly washed. Floor mat was missing.Reviewed 23 Mar 2021

Not greatPros:Unfortunate timing: I picked up the car when the rental agencies were located in terminal but they moved off terminal the next day so that I had to drop off at a new location off terminal with a very bumpy train ride to the terminal. It wasn’t enterprise’s fault but the Tampa airport expansion now requires you to take this train from the rentals to a confusing interim location and then take another train to get to the gates, with insufficient signage.Cons:The man who showed me to my car was very nice but I have to say that it felt like a scam when he first asked me did I want to upgrade (and pay the difference) from the economy car I had reserved (I did not) and then upgraded me anyway because there were no economy size left — so had I said yes I would have paId unnecessarily instead of getting the upgrade at no extra charge per standard practice when no cars in your reserved class are available. He then tried a hard sell on getting me to purchase insurance, to the point of scare tactics no other rental agency has ever used on me (“you’ll pay the rental rate every day after you return the car until your insurance company settles the claim”), which left me feeling extremely paranoid the entire trip, when I have used my own insurance for rentals every time in my 20+ years of renting cars (and never before felt so paranoid about some other driver dinging my rental).Reviewed 17 Feb 2018
