When I arrived I was not allowed to check in or board and no one wanted to help me find out what to do. They suggested I call my ticketing agent. Thankfully they were helpful but they mentioned the ANA SHOULD have helped me find the next available flight but the representative kept repeating it was not her job. Finally she looked and said there were no available flights and tried to push me to buy another ticket through another company. My ticketing agent helped after she heard what happened and rebooked my flight for the next day. Hopefully everything goes smoothly but ANA staff at Gimpo were a bit of a nightmare to deal with"

There was no notice given so we arrived at the airport on time only to wait for almost 2 hours. PAL has a monopoly on the route and charges almost $100 for a 45 minute flight. I understand the pricing but not notifying passengers when a flight is going to be that late simply reflects a lack of concern on the part of PAL."

Cons: "More often than not, Philippine Airlines has been our airline of choice because we found their rates to be fair and flights direct and easy. Despite the fact that the PAL terminal was pretty poor, and the food on board was never really decent, we remained loyal to PAL for quite a few years. On our way back to Melbourne from Manila on June 17, Saturday, Colin, Hendrix and I were awaiting boarding at gate 10 for flight PR 209. Having flown with PAL from Melbourne to Manila (as well as with another airline from Manila to Manchester and back), we understood that the usual procedure was to allow passengers with infants to board first. Due to the lack of order (there were no clear queues in sight), Colin decided to ask 3 different PAL personnel if there was, indeed, a priority queue for people travelling with infants. ALL THREE PERSONNEL ASSURED US THAT THEY WERE NOT YET BOARDING AND THAT WE WOULD BE CALLED UPON PRIOR TO THEM LETTING ANYONE ELSE ON THE PLANE. 2 minutes later, a PAL personnel appears with signage that reads certain row numbers and begins to call out to ALL PASSENGERS FOR BOARDING. Colin swiftly rushes to the front (me and baby in tow) and demands an explanation as to why we were told one thing but are watching them act upon something completely different. I wish I was joking when I tell you that the personnel just stared blankly at us and then carried on checking boarding passes. No apologies, no explanation offered. As soon as we boarded, Colin turned to the first flight steward he saw and asked for a complaint form and told this could ONLY be done online, to which Colin requested we be given the email/web address upon take off. The seats assigned to us were on the right most side of the aircraft, a window and a middle seat. As Colin was placing our bags in the overhead compartment, the steward called to Colin from across the aisle (past the 3 seats in the middle of the plane) to introduce the purser, Jolly Bello. Please note this was happening while people were also trying to get past and get to their seats -and Mr. bello called out across the aisle, "I heard you have a complaint??" to which Colin, baffled, replied "yes do you want to come over here so we aren’t shouting over these people?". Colin yet again told this purser what the complaint was about and was asked (verbatim) "so would you like to make a complaint against THEM?" Would the correct protocol not be to 1. Apologise for any confusion, miscommunication or poor service, 2. Take some responsibility and acknowledge the complaint and 3. Maybe come approach us AFTER TAKE OFF and not while everyone is trying to board the plane? We are no longer choosing Philippine Airlines."

Pros: "First experience with Malaysian. Really good. On time both boarding and take off. Food to my liking, perhaps spicy to others. Crew were polite and did their job well. Over all good and service and experience more than expected."
Cons: "Was looking forward to see and experience new KLIA. Had heard about it, perhaps, 10-15 years back. Not that great, bit crampy. Open seating near gates is current style. Toilets are bad, truly Asian!"

Pros: "The korean spicy chicken was delicious!"
Cons: "The 2 male flight attendants who served our rows did not smile once. Very unfriendly and seemed like they just wanted to do the minimum. We were also extremely unhappy that during check in was advised that our seats were not allocated together when we booked the tickets together and are also Enrich frequent flyer members. We had to demand to speak to a manager for them to change our seats."

Pros: "Flight to KUL from BKK was a fairly new 737 and had a new entertainment system. It was clean and looked well maintained. Nice ride."
Cons: "Return to BKK from KUL was on a 737-800 that looked like it was ready for the scrap heap. Very dirty even on the outside of the plane. The backs of the seats were torn and spots from drinks and dirty hands on the backs of the head rest. All the magazines were WELL worn and one had gum between the pages. The table top had part of a meal left on it."

Pros: "The equipment and level of service on this MAS flight was excellent. Food was delicious. Seat was comfortable."
Cons: "Though it wasn't part of the flight, the business class lounge at KUL is just a step below the excellent facilities at airports like HKG. Just a step though, mostly in the shower area. Food options were great though. And take advantage of the Massage Spa within the lounge."

Cons: "Air China Service was horrible. I missed my flight due to an accident and when I got to the airport they were rude, and did not try to give me a solution. I had no money and I did not speak the language and the only solution they gave me was to call costumer service with the coins I have left. I will never fly with Air China again and I hope the rest of the people do the same. Horrible horrible experience."

Pros: "Crew members, especially Cooper Pan, were excellent, friendly, thorough, accommodating. I felt like a special customer on this flight! Food was very good, and I appreciated the options of different meals. Also very little turbulence. Thank you, Air China!"

Cons: "asiana air gives a small flight package with slippers, toothpaste and toothbrush. while i find this extremely wasteful, i really needed toothpaste to brush my teeth but didnt have any. aside from that i felt that the seats were less comfortable and smushed together compared to other flights."

Cons: "I arrived at the gate having found out that someone had cancelled my ticket. I had, had to pay $800 on my flight to Seoul, since they would not let me board because of a late connecting flight. Sometime during re-issue of my destination ticket, someone cancelled my return flight. Though 3 hours early, I had to wait for the counter to open, and then wait an hour and a half standing at the counter to get a ticket. There was no entertainment. The orange juice was not drinkable. I had to run through the Beijing Airport. so many security checks and my bag was searched many times during this trip. my toothpaste was confiscated though it had only about 3 uses left it was a full size tube rolled down to the last bit."

Cons: "This was like flying in the 90's. The seats were super small and uncomfortable my TV didn't work and they wouldn't let me use my phone (even on fly mode) and the Beijing international airport didn't have WiFi."

Cons: "Some of the Chinese movies did not have subtitles or the subtitles were too small to read. Middle seats are the worse and the chairs do not recline that much back."

Pros: "it was a very comfortable flight and the crew was friendly and helpful. We were traveling with two small children, so saying it was a comfortable flight is very high praise."
Cons: "It was VERY annoying that we had to keep all cell phones turned off the entire flight. We preloaded games for my 5 year old son on an old iPhone 4 that is not connected to the internet or any cell service or bluetooth or anything and he was not allowed to use it the entire flight. Very frustrating for him and us. I wish this information was clearly provided on the Air China website when we booked the tickets so we could have planned accordingly."

And! They lost both of my luggages! Now I'm forced to stay in Houston airport overnight to catch next flight to go home tomorrow morning. Air China did NOT help anything! They wouldn't even help me rebook my flight when they know I will miss my last connect flight."

Pros: "The professionalism of the crew was fantastic! The flight attendants did their best to ensure everyone was well hydrated and fed."
Cons: "The seats were extremely cramped for a 6hr flight and the touchscreen used for entertainment wasn't functioning. Air china typically serves some pretty decent food but this time it felt like I was eating some sort of slime posing as beef. I also noticed some Air china flights heat the rolls and others leave them cold. The salad was also frozen solid."
